Wrath: A Novel

Better than the movie
This book is beyond good. I only wish Chastity wouldn't have ignored all the red flags. She was just happy to be "in love" I guess. Xavier should have worked on his angry issues more then he wouldn't have ended up how he did. I was not expecting it end the way it did. I'm glad Chastity cut ties with Xavier and I don't like how Bryce was trying to talk her into saying in his life.

So Many ignored flags
This book, as it's 3 predecessors, was an awesome read. I read it while on vacation and hated having to stop. It held me from the moment I realised she was NOT his first choice but what he initially settled for. The fact that he jumped into a relationship without resolving it OR his obvious issues related to women was a glaring flag to me as a reader. And unfortunately as women, we try to FIX things instead of seeing them for what they truly are and it often comes back to bite us in the derriere. Xavier received his karma in the end, but he still won because he got Roxanne back . I can't wait for the next one to come out as these FOUR face been FABULOUS!!!

Victoria Christopher Murray has done it again!
Victoria Christopher Murray has done it again! Her characters are so life-like I find myself drawn into the story, alternating between cheering them on and wanting to slap some sense into them 🤣🤣🤣. Her characters become your friends. And the ending is a mind blowing ride!WRATH is the 4th of the 7 Deadly Sins series by Ms. Christopher Murray and I have to say one of the best so far. Do yourself a favor and pick up the other 3 - LUST, ENVY, & GREED as well. Then pour your favorite beverage, light a candle, and turn off your phone. Her books are the stay up all night reading variety.Strap in and Get Ready, Get Ready, Get Ready!! Victoria has also teamed up with Pastor TD Jake's & Lifetime to bring these books to life. LUST premieres April 10th and ENVY on April 17. I can only hope the entire series will follow.

A Real Page Turner
All I can say is wow! I was captivated with this book until the very end. I must admit that there were times when I was annoyed with both characters. Xavier pushed my buttons because he never truly took responsibility for his rage. It was always someone else’s fault. Chastity pushed my buttons because how many times did Xavier have to show her through his actions that his rage could not be controlled. She could have lost her life.Although the writing was excellent, all of the drama took place toward the end of the book. The ending seemed rushed. All in all, Wrath was a good read.

Wrath and Mental/Health
This book depicts how distorted thinking, an unhealthy relationship with self, and lack of knowledge can lead to deadly outcomes, which could be prevented if people would renew their mind. God and therapy are needed to change dysfunctional behaviors.

Several Signs
The signs were there, but Chastity chose to ignore them. Chastity believed that because she loved Xavier she could save him.Xavier needed help. He would not accept responsibility for his actions.

Wrath
I loved Chaz. I did not like X. I would not have married him, but that’s just me. I need to get to know a man before I would marry him. X showed Chaz who he was she should have paid attention. There is not that MUCH love in the world for me to allow someone to walk all over me. Great read. I enjoyed this book a lot.

A real page turner
All I can say is I want more! I learned a lot about God's word on Wrath, extending grace and offering mercy. But I want more. I can't help but want to know if this experience changed Xavier.
