Exactly what I was looking for - nice range of colors and sizes; if you're looking for a variety within a certain range, this is great. In case you were wondering how many buttons "4 oz" is, just counted and my pack was apx 215. I'm sure it varies, but I'd say you're safely in the 175+ range. And - bonus - the bag it ships in is a relatively nice quality zip-top bag rather than the cheapies with open ends these kinds of things usu come in. PERFECT for storing them long term so you don't have a too-big baggie or container taking up extra space. That alone will have me looking for Haberdashery buttons from here out.

I bought a 2nd package just to be sure. I am sure! Even with 2 packs you barely get 2-matching buttons. So if you want any set of buttons, go get sets of buttons. Adding that this pack is from tiny to large buttons with some cracked or with no bore holes. NO consistency at all. These packs of buttons are more for crafting.

I'm disappointed because all the really pretty different looking buttons are not flat (they have a little ear on the back). I was buying this to do button art to be glued to canvas and with the ear it can't be done obviously. Otherwise a very nice selection.

Not really happy with this purchase. Only a few had a match. I was hoping to at least get 6 of the same button for clothing projects, like a homemade shirt. These buttons would only be good if you needed to glue them to a frame or some other craft kind of project. Or if you only need one buttorn. Description should have been clear that there were not more than two of each button.
