5'7" 153 lbs. long legs, short torso. Fit perfect and very flattering. super comfortable, light weight and cool. Pockets sit lower than normal due to wide (and comfy) waistband. This actually is great and a better positioning for my long arms. Roomy pockets fit cell phone easily. Love the hidden pockets.Didn't like them for swimming. Jumped in the pool after yardwork and they were clingy when I got out. Comparing to the yoga style shorts I normally wear for swimming. But, I would definitely wear them for kayaking or to a party where I might get wet, but don't plan on swimming.

Very comfy and lightweight. I am a 12-14 in pants but I ordered an XL because I like my comfy shorts to really be comfy. They are a bit baggy in the leg, but perfect in the waist and seat. A Large would have been a little bit squeezy I think. Pockets are nice and deep though a little lower than I am used to a pocket sitting. Waistband is wide and stretchy with adjustable pull. They are also a smidge long on me but I am 5’2” so that’s hardly a surprise. I just hike the waist up a bit higher which is still perfectly comfortable and they’re good. Built in panty is really nice and sized just right. I chose these because I have a pair of lightweight Naviskin capris which I love. They are not flattering but they are oh so comfy, super lightweight and fast drying. I was looking for a similar fabric in a short and these are it - and these Baleaf are more flattering. Would also be great for anyone whose thighs rub together when walking or running not only because of the length but also because there is just about no friction with this fabric.I recommend! Would buy again.

The fabric is stretchy, comfy, great pockets, love the longer length. I usually wear size 16 US (36" waist, 45.5 hip) and ordered a XL. Fit was great in the back and waistband, and inner liner. However, I had some weird bunching in the front crotch as it didn't fit my shape quite right. I have large thighs (pear shape) and the shorts were pulling to the front slightly. Hard to explain because they're weren't tight, just slightly awkward. I'm super picky about fit as I'm learning to sew and fit my body properly.I will probably keep them as I love everything else about them and they will be great to try for running / walking in the warm weather. I normally wear leggings to prevent chafing and riding up, but wanted to try something else for variety or when I don't want to wear something as fitted.

I have retired all my old (and I do mean OLD) running/workout shorts because these Baleaf shorts are just hands-down superior! I love EVERYthing about them:--7" provides good coverage for modesty and/or middle-aged legs. = )--Straight cut of the legs means when I workout at the gym, no one can see up my shorts legs into No-No Land. (I accidentally bought a 5" pair as well. I run in them, but I don't like them in the gym due to lack of coverage when bending or using certain equipment.)--DEEP side pockets holds items securely while running. (OK, *jogging*, but I like to call it "running!")--Waistband pocket holds your key fob securely.--Back waistband ZIPPERED pocket will securely hold your phone, narrow water bottle, or eyeglasses (No more running "blind!" I have my glasses with me now for just-in-case!)--Built-in breathable comfy panty; so comfy I never even feel it.--Soft, drapey material--not clingy at all, hangs nicely and is flattering.--Secure, high waistband that is comfortable. Should the shorts feel a bit loose, there is a flat, "hidden" tie that you can cinch up if need be.I REALLY love these shorts. It is SO HARD to find women's running shorts with POCKETS, let alone deep ones and THIS MANY!! Plus, they are just so dang comfortable! I can't believe I put up with my other shorts all these years!I wash my running clothes in cold water and never put them in the dryer. With that treatment, my Baleaf shorts are still looking new. I have both black and gray pairs.

Love these shorts. They are lightweight and super comfy. I use them for every day shorts. Dress them up or down. I would recommend.

Bought these as around the house shorts, not for running or working out. I usually wear about a size 10, ordered a medium.Pros: nice fabric, good deep pockets (holds my phone without trouble). The no tie waist band is a mixed blessing, as it will occasionally roll down but I really like the smooth look and secure fit. They are nice and breathable, so they don't get sweating or muggy in the rear.Cons: Arrived with several loose strings from the seams, not a great sign for longevity. The leg opening isn't as baggy as I was hoping for, so the ride up my thighs when I sit. The legs are also not as long as I was looking for. The interior panty thing is a little odd, I'll probably cut it out.Over all, if you are looking for a decent short for around the house, these are fine, especially if you can get a good sale price.

I'm 5'7, 148 lbs, ordered M in the olive green. I have a bit of a booty & thicker thighs. The M is a looser fit & plenty of room on me. I'm considering sizing down to a S in a different color. I use these for hiking, golf & hanging out. Great light, wicking material. Was caught in a rainstorm on a recent hike. After the rain, my shorts dried out within an hour. Side pockets are plenty deep enough to hold Samsung S23 phone. Also able to hold a couple of golf balls & tees. Back zip pocket can also hold my phone. Highly recommend!

I bought a few pairs of various short styles based on reviews of the best ones not to have the legs ride up when you walk. These do a great job of staying in place. The fabric is nice and cool, and they fit well.What I don't like is the side pockets. They pooch out on the sides, and don't lay flat. I bought these specific shorts because of another review about the stomach area laying flat (not pooching). These fit great in the waist. I wish the pockets would zip because then they would lay flat and not stick out. I just don't think the profile in these shorts is very flattering.

Does pill after some wearing, but the waist band is flattering and the length is so perfect for comfort…and not riding up the thighs. Great pockets.

I’m 5’10 and 180lbs- I bought an XL but I could have probably gone with a large but I really didn’t want them to be small at all while playing soccer. The waist is adjustable and I don’t mind them being a bit baggy. They are really comfortable and nice lightweight material and I love the waistband and the pockets!

The pockets are too big and it looks gathered around legs and have a weird look. The inner layer is also stitched bad.
