POWERTEC 70139 6-to-1 Hose and Fittings Reducer Adapter

I recently picked up a vintage 113 Craftsman 12” bandsaw circa 1984. It was in great shape and mostly complete. One of the two things missing was the dust port elbow. This is a great replacement. The smaller end clamps perfectly in the dust port and the larger end fits my 4” dust collection system. So this is actually better than if the original elbow was in place. I’d either have to replace the elbow anyway with a piece like this, or attach an adapter to the original elbow which is another 90 degree turn.

This six inch reducer is a larger diameter and would not accommodate a six inch duct so I couldn't use it. It is heavy duty plastic so I think the bulk of the plastic has to be thicker and the added thickness makes it a stretch to make a six inch duct fit over it. I had to get a metal reduce at the local hard ware. That is why I gave it four stars. No reason to send it back since the cost is so low. I will eventually find a use for it.

We couldn't wait and had to use it anyway but it is not 3/4". We had to rig it to work.

I would have not bought it if it was hard plastic.It said rubber and it is not.

These things are a must for your shops dust collection system! No more rigging up half a**ed solutions! These work like a champ and are super easy to cut down to the size you need!

It's a pretty basic component, but it doesn't have to be complicated. I needed connection between 6" and 3" trunking to accomodate an inline blower, so a quick slice with the hacksaw and it was fitted into the project. No worries about nasty fumes from that resin printer, this simple plug in venting system has it covered.

The 6" diameter fit perfectly over my 6" heating/cooling ductwork. I cut off the top 3 reducing pieces with a hacksaw since I needed the 3" reduction. The 3" diameter fit well with the 3" duct. The clamps did their job on both ends.

Needed to connect a 6.25" ID hose to a 5"OD pipe. This is the ticket. Just cut off the excess you don't need, and you can step down to a 1" opening if need be. It did the job perfectly.
