I must admit, the nato strap gives not just a comfortable wearing experience but also the peace of mind that if a slug/spring bar/pin on the watch fails, then the second slug/spring bar/pin will still be hung on the strap; prevent it from falling off.In the traditional two-piece band (leather/rubber/metal/plastic), if any of the slug/spring bar/pins fails, the entire watch comes undone from the wrist and drops on the floor. In an active lifestyle, it will be a significant loss if you wear an expensive watch, Citizen, SEIKO, Rolex or Titan, for that matter.
