Metamorphoses (The Norton Library)

5 stars for Ovid’s work and Emily Wilson’s introduction. IMHO, Martin takes too many liberties bowdlerizing some text and varying key phrases/meaning to render his verse (ie. Dedalus famous Icarus, Icarus, Icarus is changed to a single Icarus). The Penguin/Oxford versions are stronger translations in those regards and keep to the universal lines references.
