This is not a one- or two-piece rod, but TEN separate connecting rods with ridges at each joint
I thought I was ordering a two-piece rod that would have one joint somewhere near the middle of the window. This rod is actually ten separate connecting pieces that, when assembled, have multiple ridges at every single joint. If you're looking for extreme customizability, this rod might be for you. If you're looking for a traditional rod with a smooth finish, keep looking.

As curtain rods go, you get what you pay for
Not the most fantastic curtain rod I've bought but I wasn't expecting much. I hang some pretty long blackout curtains so no small task for this rod and frequently open and shut them. The rod has just fallen apart on several occasions which I admit is a hassle but one that I think I definitely should have been expecting with this price.

Instructions not included
They look great but as someone who is inexperienced with putting up curtain rods I was confused and struggled and had to watch a few YouTube videos to put these up on my drywall. Instructions being included would have been very helpful.

Nice looking sturdy rod
I bought several of these to hang black-out curtains in prep for the summer heat. The rod arrives in several segments that have to be connected together to make the rod, because of this, the rod can only be certain lengths between the minimum length and the maximum length. This could present a problem if you need and exact length. The rods, once assembled are very sturdy and easily held my curtains. They include a roll of rubber tape to stick to the top side of the rod to prevent metal on metal noise when opening and closing the curtains which I feel is a nice touch. I have ordered 4 more rods to replace older rods in my home.
