Anyone who rides needs to read this. Makes perfect sense and so much kinder for horses/ponies to be ridden this way. Yes, it's hard work to achieve but as the saying goes "anyone can ride but it takes effort to ride well". All horses I've schooled, competed on etc have changed their self carriage and responsiveness because I've changed how I ride!

This lady really knows her stuff but the book is very wordy rather than giving clear examples and pictures. There are lots of long winded stories but what I want is something that I can tap into and put into action with my horse.

This is a must read for novice and experienced riders. covers all aspects of riding and beautifully illustrutrated, you really appreciate which muscles you should be using
