Well written, easy to read. Great historical understanding of family therapy. Good insights into various modalities.

I bought the Ebook version. It's $130 cheaper, which is awesome. So, that's good.WARNING!!! It only allows you to download this twice! Then, that’s it. It’s not an ebook. This is a licence to download the PDF version of the book a total of two times.It's not formatted for Kindle. I think it’s a PDF. I'm still able to highlight text, but screen to speech doesn't work which is really sad because I need the text to speech option.If you want to save $130, and you can accept the limit of only two downloads, then this is for you.

The book is great, with some amazing information. Essential reading. However, the newest version did not update the index, making looking things up practically useless. My advice is get an earlier version or wait for the next and hope they fix it.

The information is very good. The copy that I have does seem to have missed a great deal in editing prior to printing. There are numerous spelling mistakes and care was not taken in a few sections of my copy where I found smudged/faded ink and pages not cut in line with the rest of the book. The paper copy that I’ve purchased does not seem very compatible with the online links offered throughout the book. I have not taken the time to search this extensively but the index does not seem to match with the page numbers given. This would be very frustrating for a student or a therapist as far as using the book as a reference. This is a very expensive book for the, above mentioned problems. Overall, I think the content is valuable.

I was skeptical about buying second hand - you'd never know by looking at my book. It was even plastic wrapped! Very impressed with the quality!
