My Grandsons are not interested in reading this......
This was bought for a gift to my grandchildren. The pages and chapters I was told are very long with old fashioned English words. My 7 year old grandson can read any type of book by himself he is very clever and articulate but he doesn't seem to be interested in this book. The first chapter was read aloud by his Mother but when she suggested another chapter the next night they both said no!I read the reviews online about this book and the story to me was delightful. I really thought this was going to a favourite book and they would love the characters involved.I cannot understand why they do not want to read this book. I am requesting to bring the book back to me.......I think I would really enjoy reading it. With this in mind I am reluctant to score this book any lower. I will be back to review.

An excellent book
I bought this on the basis of a glowing review in the Sunday Times and, having now read it to my seven-year-old daughter, am delighted with the purchase. It is a very witty, original and charming story, laden with absurdities; in terms of language development for a child, it also presents a satisfying challenge. But above all, it is great fun to read (aloud).

Brilliant
Welcome to the wild and wacky world of Skunk and Badger. These guys are brilliant - staid, grumpy Badger and outgoing, friendly Skunk plus a whole lot of chickens that seem to teleport. Brilliant really hope there is another one

Great
A great dream team pairing. Not just of Skunk and Badger but of Amy Timberlake and Jon Klassen too. We loved it :)
