I’ve only a tiny window in my bedroom and it’s very dark. I’ve tried various makeup mirrors with lights, but they still leave heavy shadow areas and I can’t see what I’m doing.I’ve tried lots of different lighting too, including ring lights, but still not right.I feel it’s excessive money for what I need it for, but there again definitely worth it, to ensure I don’t leave the house looking like a clown every day.Trying to figure out the best placement was initially difficult, but it was actually a very simple solution. I placed the light on the tripod, kept the base closed and the poles retracted and placed it behind my table mirror and pushed my mirror tightly up against the light. Which is holding well. Then have one light at either side of my table mirror, giving off a perfect light.The operation of the lights are extremely simple, either with the button on the control panel, or simpler still with the remote. It remembers your previous settings when switched on too. The strength of the light and options for cool/ warm is very impressive, I personally don’t need anything more than 30% of the full brightness. Gives of the perfect lighting and balance for makeup and hair.It comes with a decent carry bag too, with excellent foam padding and space for the unit. Much better quality than expected, perfect for those who need to use it regularly with excellent protection.Instructions were easy to follow too.Overall an excellent purchase for anyone looking too update their lighting for personal beauty. Better than ring or Hollywood string lights by far.I do photography too for online selling and I already have lighting for this. However, these lights are actually better than anything I already own for power and range of brightness and range. These would be excellent for vloggers and photographers too on a budget.I did test the tripod stand and it’s actually more substantial and secure than my other photography lighting, simple and much easier to use. I didn’t try with the lights attached, but I can’t foresee any major issues with stabilityVery happy indeed.I will update with photos.Thank you

it only gets one star cause I had to return this lamp 4 times! Had an issue with a wobbly arm and the tripod doesn't stand straight AT ALL , see pic attached, both stands from the same lamp/seller. After 4 times I gave up and ended up using a stand from a different lamp... Why did I keep it ? Cause I like the lamp. It is bright, simple to use, love the different settings warm/cold. Super adjustable. I've had the last purchase for 11 months now and havent had any tech issues with the light bulbs. If the tripod had no manufacturing defect I'd give this lamp a 5 star. I'd love to buy a couple more but may have to look elsewhere....EDIT: Just a couple days after writing the review, the lamp started acting up. I noticed it was getting really hot, the connector was melting, I took good care of it but it lasted less than a year...

This is an awesome light for beauty work & videos. I absolutely love all the dimming & warming features & it’s light & manouverable. Def worth the investment!

The media could not be loaded. Order this light in January! One light has gone and the other is hot like fire ! Unable to touch do not buy this product not cheap! And has broke after a few months! Can’t contact a seller no option for it !

Achetée pour activité d’extensions de cils. La lampe éclair très bien, on peut choisir l’intensité et la chaleur de la lumière ( blanche ou jaune ).Petit bémol sur le pied et est fragile et manque un peu de stabilité.Bon rapport qualité prix dans l’ensemble.

J'ai été absolument ravie du produit jusqu'à que celui ci me lache au bout de 9 mois d'utilisation, il me semble ne pas avoir de garantie ce qui est très dommage .. je vais devoir en acheter une autre mais sans doute pas celle ci ..

Au bout d'un mois et demi, ma lampe ne s'allume plus. Impossible de contacter le vendeur pour qu'il me l'échange. Très déçue
