Great walking video alternative
I am an avid Jessica Smith fan, but found myself getting a little bored and unmotivated doing the same DVDs over and over again. This program was a great find! Is it the highest production quality? No, I mean they're outside in creative real locations, so when you consider that they're pretty darn good. Are all of the workouts winners? Nope, but I didn't hate any either (my least favorites involved lots of bug swatting and a windy beach that created sound issues). BUT there are plenty of winners in here. I found working out with a different backdrop something I looked forward to. I have been so much more consistent again! I also thought people watching in the background was a fun distraction sometimes too. All of the workouts are around 30 minutes (which is perfect for my schedule). Jenny did a great job switching up movements and music so you don't feel like you're doing the same workout every day. I particularly enjoyed the "potato sack lunges" and mashed potato in Idaho (lol). She is also likeable and not overly chatty. Plus her cueing is great! I have been enjoying this program enough to take the plunge and buy the step program too! Overall, I highly recommend this program. With 50 different workouts I'm not getting bored and I will absolutely repeat the program.

Love it
It’s harder than it looks, I’ve gotten into good shape with this and I wanted all 50 so I don’t get bored. When you’re older, less is actually more so walking workouts are great to mix in with short jogs

Can be adapted to your fitness level
There are a couple of things I especially like about this set of workouts. First, Jenny keeps it interesting by using the different settings across the country. Second, you can easily adapt the workouts to your fitness level. If needed, you can take it a bit easy. But as your fitness level increases, you can make the workouts harder--for example, by running in place instead of walking, or by using light handheld weights and doing more arm raises, biceps curls, etc., instead of keeping your arms down. Each walk is broken down into a warm-up, three main sections, and then a cool-down. You can do them all at once or break the workout up to get in little movement snacks throughout the day.

Jenny Makes Working Out Fun!
Have completed this series several times. I’m a senior and never have a problem with the workouts.Love seeing different states and I can stay in one more than once, go in order or pick and choose.Jennie is like a girlfriend I’ve never met. She explains the simple moves in a friendly tone.Would highly recommend this series of workouts!

Not able to recommend
The set provides 50 approximately 30 minute walking workouts- one in each state. Not all of the locations are nearly as scenic as on the cover. In fact, the fist one is in a parking lot in Utah. So, that was somewhat disappointing but not a deal breaker. I did find it annoying with her kids occasionally photobombing the videos which didn’t enhance the production quality. An annoying announcer talks over Jenny to announce the warm up, sections and the cool down. Why? This information is on the screen and it’s difficult to hear Jenny. So, this set list one star for all of that. Here’s the big problem with this and why I don’t recommend this set: the warm-up and cool down are ridiculously short- especially the cool down. Indeed, on one program she says to pause the DVD before stretching if one needs a longer cool down. Why, yes, I do need longer than 60 second cooldown after a power push and before stretching . If the routine is inadequate and I have to pause the recording why I am working out with this DVD? Although I did sweat while doing the workouts, my suggestion is stick with Leslie Sansone or Jessica Smith.

Great workouts and great views!
I love the DVD’s for Walk Across America!!! Great concept. I know I’ll never get to all 50 states but I thank Jenny for the workouts and Tyler for the videography. It’s as if I’m with Jenny exercising in all the 50 states. I love her positivity and when she says “how you doing are you ok” and love the cardio bursts. I love the fact that it’s fun and doesn’t feel like grueling workout although she has me sweating for 30 minutes a day. I was missing DVD #5 out of my package and I called and spoke with Tyler who is going to send me the missing DVD. Excellent customer service.

this has fun variety
I love the variety. Every time I go through the 50 (2 a day), I see something else. Niagra Falls is refreshing and Las Vegas is a great work out with excellent music.
