Lang 2017 Lang Folk Art Wall Calendar, 13.375 x 24 inches (17991001922)

This annual purchase has done a great job matching the pictures to the seasons this year. January through March feature snow, then there are spring and summer scenes, July is a parade for Fourth of July, and October has pumpkins, November is very Fall like, and December reflects the winter wonderland of the Christmas month.Also of note this year, some of the picture images extend beyond their box lines, an effect that, for me, really adds something extra to the months images.Love the big numbers, space in each box to jot down appointments and special occasions, and most importantly to me, it's a calendar with moons, showing their cycle through each month. And of course, it's linen pages and a linen envelope for storing.Quality calendar at a great price from Amazon, and it arrived quickly and securely packaged. ☺Update on 1/05/17 : The number pages have a gray background this year, rather than usual white. It makes the numbers harder to read, especially since the numbers are not as thick and bold black as previous years. The Singleton is only one with this change out of the three Lang I purchased. I don't know how such a major change got right by me on receipt of my order, but it sure is noticeable now that it's hung. Geez.😕, Lang, if it's not broke, PLEASE, don't fix it. Put this calendar back as it was for 2018. Otherwise, still nice calendar.

Nice art for each month - not crazy about the gray background on the calendar section - doesn't show up well.

One of our family members began a tradition several years ago by purchasing each female family member a Lang calendar after having the frames made by a friend of our family. We couldn't begin to say how many we have purchased since that time. A multitude I'm sure. All of us are totally pleased and look forward to getting new ones every year. We highly recommend the calendars as well as the frames and of course we purchase new ones every year.

beautiful calendar and i love the pictures. The only negative thing about it is that every page is in the gray shade. The dates are not bold and definitely not the same numbers print that usually stands out monthly. in past calendars. I won't be keeping it. (I ordered 3 diffeernt Lang ones like I always do! ) I prefer the sharper contrast date numbers and the white or ivory background as in all the other previous yearsones. This is the first time Ive seen this and am disappointed. I thought maybe only one month as shown in the description was gray. However all the months are in a gray background. Pictures are beautiful. Never a complaint about that. I just like a total aesthetic appeal with a bold date and clear background!

I absolutely love the folk art by Mary Singleton.. BUT The blue gray back ground color STINKS!!! I can NOT see the date much less what the occasion is!! I am so DISAPPOINTED in this calendar part. Will make sue next year it is NOT this blue gray color!..... OR I will be changing to a different calendar after all these years. Very DISAPPOINTED....

I've ordered the same calendar every year for many years. I have a frame for it which hangs in my kitchen. For the first time this year, every calendar page has a blue background which does not look good at all. I love Mary Singleton's folk art. Too bad someone decided to change the calendar page color. I will not be ordering it again :(

I have purchased these Lang calendars for my wife for years. She loves them, especially the Folk Art paintings. She also loves the size of the calendar along with the reinforced "nail" spot because it holds up throughout the year. Will continue to buy these annually.

I just love this calendar! The artwork is beautiful and the squares for each date are big enough to add any appointments or special dates you want to remember. It brightens up my kitchen.
