Simple Hindi but nicely expressed.Must read for any Hindi language lover.Depicts the social relations still valid after so many decades in modern India.

This book should be an inspiration for today's generation who is ready to live apart from their parents and family.

The book had two good stories written by the famous author Premchand. The language and the print quality was very good but the stories were really short. Not nearly enough to be compiled in a book. I was done with the book in less than 40 minutes. Somewhat expensive for such short stories considering you can get complete novels for similar price.

Munshi PremChand is one of my favourite writers. I have read most of their books. Bade Ghar ki Beti is a nice one of them.

Product details say it is in English and i ordered it but it is in Hindi which I do not read. I am therefore giving it one star. I am sure it deserves more.

This is a very heart touching story with a beautiful moral. There is nothing to dislike about it. I am very fond of Munshi Premchand's stories which pierces through your soul and relaxes you hence perfect for recommendation.

The book is a collection of many tells of people which motivate the person to fight untill he died

Premchand's writing is amazingly gripping and his use of local hindi and urdu words in his writing is unlike any other Hindi literature. Must read author if you are learning hindi or otherwise want to read good hindi literature.
