These are the best Turkish hand towels I've had since the 1960s when I received them as a gift. They came with washing instructions: Soak overnight in one gallon of water mixed with one cup of vinegar; machine wash and dry after first soaking. Turkish towels become very soft and absorbent after this method of washing, and I've been using this method on the thick towels that I've bought in the last 10 years. These towels came out so soft and absorbent - better than the first ones I had for many years. Now that they are readily available, I add to my collection every so often. I love the thinner cotton for toweling dry after a shower; to blot my face dry after washing, and to wrap around my hair after shampooing. The thicker towels are great hand towels in the bath and kitchen. I will buy more of these!!

I bought the Great Ethnic 2-pack of towels in August 2024 while searching for longer decorative towels to hang on my stove, and they’ve been perfect! The longer length makes it easy to knot or tie them for a stylish look. They match my kitchen’s grey and beige theme beautifully and add just the right touch of charm. They’ve required no maintenance beyond the occasional wash, and I just hang them right back up. These were a great find!

The color and threads of the Bazaar towels have kept well - every thread is still in tact. It has also kept its softness and there is no pilling. I just bought another set. Unfortunately the price has doubled but I feel it is a quality product.I did purchased another brand of "Turkish" towels that did not compare. The different brand (not made in Turkey) felt like it was flammable; it felt slippery like it was coated with plastic or petroleum. From my experience Bazaar is the better brand.

I ordered these towels for my downstairs powder room. On my phone the color appears to be Indigo Blue which would have been perfect for my color scheme. The towels look nice and fee soft. I am disappointed though only in the color. In person the blue appears to be more Royal rather than Indigo. While they won’t work for me in my powder room I will save them as a Christmas gift for a neighbor.

First off - the reviewers who write that these towels aren't absorbent, clearly have never been taught that you DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTENER OR DRYER SHEETS ON ANY TOWELS!!!! Those products deposit a wax like substance onto the fabric that will prevent the cotton from being as absorbent as it should be. May sound weird, but grandma was right about this one. Towels don't get static-y, so they don't need dryer sheets.Back to the review of these towels - I so wish Amazon hadn't taken away the option to add a photo, because truly, these are absolutely beautiful hand made towels. These were by far the best deal I could find on Amazon and they were shipped from Turkey and arrived within days.Turkish towels are a luxury, truly, and once you use them, you'll want to replace all your other towels and reclaim way more than half the space in your linen closet. They are very thin but more absorbent than any fluffy towel that often just pushes the water around before actually absorbing it. They are handmade, which I love, that you can see that they weren't made in mass by a machine. I love that each is very slightly different that way. They washed up nicely, but I let mine dry in the sun, not in the dryer, and it took just a few minutes for them to be totally dry. These are in my guest bathroom and I wanted them to be crisp and wrinkle free.I am ordering another set for my master bath and kitchen!

Bought these for my guest bathroom. Even after washing the towels, they only move water around and absorb very little. My kids won’t use them and I don’t blame them. This purchase was a waste of money in my book.

The media could not be loaded. Great upgrade to my bathrooms! Quality is decent for the cost. Downside- they came wrinkled ( not a huge issue) but the thin material seems like it’ll wrinkle after I wash them. They do dry just as effectively as traditional hand towels. They are lightweight. Defiantly a versatile product. Love that the tassels are knotted so shouldn’t untie or get all frizzy with washing. Don’t do what I did- pay attention to the measurements! These were bigger than I anticipated but admit to ignoring measurements. Not a huge deal. As you can see they hang just fine folded in thirds.
