I love the Lint Lizard! I’d wanted one for awhile and am in Spring Cleaning Mode so I bought this (and a few other gadgets) to further furnish my cleaning tool kit. Boy am I glad I did. Our clothes dryer lint filter has a thick layer of lint after each load, so I cringed to think of what was going into the machine and I want it to run safely/efficiently. There are also other areas of my house that I can’t get to with regular cleaning, such as under the fridge, behind the washer/dryer, vents, etc. Upon delivery, I unpacked and assembled the Lint Lizard - it was very easy and fits my Shark Navigator just fine. I kept the box for storage while the LL is not in use. I attacked the dryer first and wow - yes, it quickly pulled out QUITE a bit of lint. Very pleased with that, and will use it monthly to maintain a clean, safe dryer. Then, I went all behind the washer and dryer, all along the baseboards and under the machines. I will say this: because the tube is very long and flexible, it became a bit hard to direct it, so I remedied that by rigging up a small dowel rod taped to the hose. That made it much easier to guide along the floor, and above my head to the ceiling vents. By the time I even got to my fridge, this thing had paid for itself in terms of doing its job and doing it very well. Under the fridge - the amount of lint, dust bunnies and other detritus was astounding (and I love to clean - think Monica on Friends, that’s me) so I was happy to now have a way to really thoroughly clean difficult areas. (In fact, I texted pictures of the piles of lint to my boyfriend at work, who then properly teased me for having this much fun with a cleaning gadget on a Saturday night) I live in the desert, so I battle dust and lint on a daily basis. This tool is now a key part of my cleaning kit and I’m so glad I finally bought it! I highly recommend it. You won’t be sorry.

Good product, limited uses

I bought two different devices to clean my dryer and already had the long flexible brush. This works best and got more lint out of the dryer even though I clean the large lint screen often and use that long brush as well. Mine is an old Whirlpool with the lint screen accessible from the top of the dryer.At first the tube of this tool clogged at the end but the lint could be easily pulled out and after that I could see the lint accumulate in the bin of my Dyson handheld. I wish the tube were a bit bigger in diameter since I can't see down the dryer lint 'chute' so I don't know if I reached all the nooks and crannies. I can't tell how clean the area is as a result of my efforts, but no more lint was accumulating, so I'm hoping I got it all.The other gadget, a long black flexible thing the shape of a crevice tool, got down there although not as far and got almost no lint. It suctioned well so I'm guessing it just didn't get down far enough. The tube on this tool is much longer.The hose twists tightly onto the main section of this tool via threads so it won't be coming off accidently. The fit to the vacuum goes over the whole vacuum tool attachment area so it doesn't matter what type of vacuum you have. The three parts are intuitive to put together, as is the attachment to the vacuum. It was easy to assemble and use, and effective. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

I used this with my very powerful Festool CT36 vacuum. It works a treat for cleaning out our LG dryer. It was surprising how much lint was in the lint trap area and it sucked out quite a bit. Fires from dryer lint are very common and preventable. This can help in that regard so it is a safety product for sure.
