Exact replacement battery for my JNC779R, arrived fully charged.
I have to admit, $120.00 seems a bit pricey (although the cheapest price from my online search) for a replacement that will degrade rather quickly, especially considering the price of brand new booster packs but I'm loyal to Jump 'N Carry (Clore Automotive). They have a quality product and I've never been left stuck with JNC. The JNC105 was the exact replacement battery for my JNC770R. My JNC770R was not holding a charge and would drain quickly and would only charge to about 12.5v before showing "FUL" only to rapidly drop to 11.5v-10.5v although it did hold at 10.5v. I did contact Clore Automotive about the battery replacement (possible recharging) and was informed that I would need to replace the battery and should also replace the buss bar (part #: 079-770-666 @ $4.80). I could only locate replacement parts for my JNC770R online at Century Tool & Equipment on their website (centurytool.net). I don't know why but Clore Automotive does not seem to sell any replacement parts for their booster packs on their online storefront. Clore Automotive informed me that Napa should have replacement parts available, or at least able to be special ordered but that was not the case in my situation and no local automotive/hardware stores carried or could get replacement parts either. I'd assume results may vary. I did inspect the original buss bar and from my untrained eye it did seem flawless so I just stuck with the original. So far I've had no problems. The replacement battery installed with no issue and was fully charged. I did purchase the JNC105 replacement battery directly through Amazon (which came directly from Clore Automotive) but I am not sure if Amazon is considered an authorized Clore Automotive dealer as nothing indicates that. Although how else would they get the product directly from Clore Automotive? Just a thought. There does seem to be other cheaper alternatives but I'd rather get the Clore Automotive branded product so I don't ever have any doubts.

terminals not the same as original battery, do not align. Needs drilling new holes in the bus bar
The terminal holes on the original battery I have do not align with this replacement battery. The replacement battery has terminals that are 1" inward on both sides from original battery. This requires drilling new holes in the bus bar where there is a bend. Not a drop in sort of deal.

Works perfectly
The battery in my unit was made in China Nov 2017. The one I got on amazon was made in Vietnam. It was threaded and came with two studs that threaded in and new nuts and lock washers. I replaced the washers that go under the lock washers. The negative cable came off the battery. The positive on the battery was hooked to the unit via a bus bar. I removed the nut, lock washer, washer, and the stud. Removing the stud made it easy to remove the battery which weighs 15 pounds. My battery was 6 years old.Replacing the battery is not hard or easy, in the middle. I had to arrange the negative cable hookup to get the case to close properly, that took 10 minutes. I paid $93.14 for the battery, used like new. It was never removed from the cardboard shipping box, only the address label was removed. At $142.71 regular price for the battery I would have gotten a new unit for $165.I will update if there are any problems, so far so good the battery showed 12.1 before charging and 13.5 after. My old battery showed 12.8 after charging and went down to 12.6 the next day.

Direct but not Perfect Replacement
Dimensions of the battery are correct, however the architecture of the top is not identical for a perfect replacement. The + - terminals are displaced ~1" toward the centerline of the battery making the rigid factory attachments unusable. Had to fabricate pigtails with appropriate terminals to hook up the battery. Not a great big deal as I had the gage wire and terminals to make the installation work. Had I realized before making this purchase, I would have opted for a lesser expensive replacement at half the price that required alteration to the hook-up.

Exact fit - worked beautifully
This fit into my jump pack. It was time for a replacement and it worked as advertised. My garage has never been happier. Except for that one time - and the garage knows why.

Not the right battery.
I have a jnc 660. I took the old battery out to check and be sure I ordered the correct replacement. The one in the picture has rectangular post which is exactly what I needed. The one sent to me has screw in holes to screw connections directly into battery and not external connectors. This photo is not the battery received and has nothing in package to adapt it to work. It is also not returnable. I am looking to get a different jump starter because the companies web site is useless for locating proper battery. I love the jump pack, but the company doesn’t do much to help with replacement battery.

Not branded like the photo
I ordered the genuine Clore replacement, and it is a generic battery from China, despite shipping directly from Clore. We will see how it holds up.No instructions were included. The posts are different on this battery from my original JNCAIR device (vertical vs horizontal, and NOT as shown in the photo) , requiring me to adjust (shorten) the cable length, and making the clamps no longer fit the holders on the outside of the charger. Changing the battery out requires negotiating about 16 screws and some anti-vibration pads. No replacement pads were included with the battery, and the ones in the charger were not reusable. This is a poor substitute, physically, and very expensive considering the competitors. Will it hold up? Maybe. It charged up well and appears to be holding a charge. I got it installed, and maybe it'll be fine. We'll see.Update: 1/4/2022: This replacement battery does seem to hold a charge well, and although I haven't had to use it to jump a car yet, I have no reason do think it won't do as well as the original.

The emplacements where one is supposed to screw the + and - poles in are two small.
The emplacements where one is supposed to screw the + and - poles in are two small. I bought this for a replacement in a JNC Air. I ask for a refund. Stay away.
