Q: Does this scale have an auto max hold?

I like the unit. That being said the first one I got had frozen controls and wouldn't get off the starting blocks. The replacement works but after the time spent figuring out programming left me happy that it provides basic tasks. I didn't even try to see if it had auto max hold. So the long short answer is I don't know.
