These are a great idea but they are made poorly. I think if the metal stem was longer it would work fine, but because it's too short it pushes the beads into the stitch counter and makes the turning caps too tight so they won't turn. A little fiddling with a needle nose pliers or something of the like will probably fix the problem, you'd think the seller would realize this and make the stems a little longer...

I love these little counters, such a cute use for them and once I clip them to my piece with a removable stitch marker I have begun to speed up my knitting. I used to use this type and other counters separated from my work but I always misplaced them or just forgotten to update them at the end of rows. Now that they just dangle from my work I am reminded to update the count and I have been confident to just pick up my work and trust the count instead of always recounting rows when I come back to the piece.

These LOOK very nice. However, only 2 out of the four function.Doesn't this company have any quality inspectors? The numbers are almost impossible to turn even with a pair of pliers to hold and turn. Beware, you get what you pay for. Spend the higher amount on a well known company's version of these. They work as expected.

I loved the idea of these as I often have difficulty keeping track of my row and stitch counters and figured this would fit nicely onto my circular cable and always be in reach. Out of the package , not even one worked. The dial doesn't turn on either one or both of the double digit numbers. It can be used as a stitch marker as long as you don't care what your count is because the dials don't budge. I even had my uber strong husband try to turn the numbers and it was so tight, it broke under the force. Don't waste your money.

I am just getting to using my second one Dude of the counter has the numbers upside down. And the third one I can only get one side of the numbers to turn. So only 2 out of 4 are useable. Sorry I waited so long to try all of them. When the first one worked fine I didn’t bother to check the others.

I use these for counting the rounds in circular knitting. The wheels almost don't turn at all, It takes almost as long to record a round as it took to knit it. I hope they loosen up with use. In addition, two of them were assembled in the wrong direction. That's weird.

So I have arthritis and I can’t fight with a crummy stitch counter. I bought one that was decent and when I saw the 4pack I thought it was worth a shot. I guess it was but out of the 4 only 1 seems to turn decently. And these are TINY. See image.

Crochet hooks don't hold stitch counters very well, but this becomes essentially a necklace pendant and then I can crochet away to my heart's content.Stitch counter is good enough quality, the beads are a little tight making it hard to turn the dial, and the ink on half of the '0's ran which makes it look like a '9' - these are the only reason it didn't get a 5 star rating. I'm very excited to wear my new necklace everywhere! Complicated crocheting hasn't been easier.

Great for counting rows when knitting in the round.
