YBN SLA 101 (Self-Lubricating) Series Chain weight only 8.90z / 253 grams and it uses a patented technology which applied the self-lubrication material (Ni-PTFE Teflon) on the surfaces of chain plates and rollers which let chain keeps high performance running smoothly and quietly with minimum maintenance and cleaning. The average life cycle of SLA 101-Ti chain is about 6000 Kilometer ~ 8000 Kilometer which is much longer than other regular chains' life cycles. Mid-to-High end chain, good value
YABAN is a Taiwan based manufacturer of chains. My experience with the 10-speed and 11-S self-lubricating SFL-110 SLA-110 model chains is that they work very well with Shimano and SRAM and for 1X10 drivetrains.In regards to the self-lubricating feature: I have used the chains with 'Dry' type bike chain lubricant. Some riders say they have run the chains without lubrication and achieved long life. Even so, use of the low-viscosity 'dry' type chain lube should help extend the life further.
