It’s just what I needed for refilling the water filter in my bedroom , saves going up and down stairs so often

This isnt' really a thermos, but more like an insulated bottle. If you expect this to keep your tea piping hot on a cold day, well, you'll be disapointed. The makers claim it will keep your drink hot for six hours, but on a day out on a cool-but-not-cold day my bottle full of boiled water was just warm after about that much time, even after pre-heating the bottle. Still drinkable in a cup of coffee, but if you want some proper warmth you'll need a proper thermos.That said, this is a bit unfair. Treat this bottle as an 'insulated bottle' and it works as you'd expect. It's better at keeping things cold or at least cool, and the size of the bottle is a definite plus. The neck is really wide which makes ice cubes easy to use, and the lids are easy to fit and remove, and makes it very easy to clean. The one litre capacity is definitely a plus, as most bottles of this type usually only hold half that.The design looks really nice and clean, and the outside of the bottle has a textured finish making it easy to grip. The bottle is stainless steel so there is no plastic lining inside, and no taste taint to whatever you put in there. It's easily tough enough to take some abuse so you don't need to worry about dropping it. The cap is secure enough that you can carry it by the cap without worrying about it coming off or leaking in your bag.It's a great bottle as long as you don't expect miracles in terms of insulation - it will keep things hot or cold, but don't expect top level performance here. It makes up for it though in terms of ease of use, looks, and the volume that it will hold. Insanely heavy bottle without even water. With the water you don't want to take this bottle anywhere. If I knew how heavy is that I wouldn't take even for free!!!!!

Does what it should no leaks

This product is excellent! With a contents of a whole litre of fluid, this flask which is double walled stainless steel, will keep your hot drink hot for at least 5 and a half hours or your cold drink cold for a lot longer than that. With a screw on cap and an alternative drinking cap, you have the ability to access your drink at any time in whatever way works for you and know that it will stay warm until you have finished.The outside is very robust with a tough outer coating and boy will this take a knock or two!This is not designed to be used in a dishwasher, and in fact i find it best to rinse under the tap then fill with boiling water out of the kettle and leave on the drainer for it to cool. Like all thermos type flasks, it is not ideal to use it for hot tea of coffee and then switch back to juice or water, because there is inevitably a little taste for the first time you switch - which is why i suggest soaking in hot water after rinsing. The truth is I have a different flask for cold drinks and this one I am using only for tea or coffee. Either way this is a delightful flask and one that I can highly recommend!!!

This is an excellent, good-looking bottle.I use smaller bottles daily, but this bottle is very handy for trips out where refilling isn't possible. Obviously it's heavier to carry a larger bottle, but sometimes it's necessary.The product info says hot drinks stay hot for 6 hours and cold drinks stay cold for 24 hours. I can confirm that these advertised times are accurate. In short, I would say it suits use as a cold drinks bottle more than hot. Mainly because the 6 hour time is reduced if you open in after an hour or two for a small drink.The bottle is really well built and I love the interchangeable lids so you can use it as a drinks bottle or a traditional flask.It's easy to clean. It's also easy to carry as it has a handy loops on each lid.

At 1 litre, this flask is a great size. It keeps cold water chilled for at least 8 hours. I filled it up in the morning and worked online all day and even if I opened and closed this flask a few times to take a drink during the day, the water was still pretty cold when I finished in the evening. I did not test it for hot drinks though as, if I drank a hot drink direct from this flask, I fear I would burn my tongue and/or lips. This is why I think that having a second cap with a drinking attachment is not as useful as having a screw-on cup into which a hot drink could be poured. All in all, apart from this suggested improvement, I think this is a really good quality product which I got in a lovely blue colour.
