Items came within 2 days, loved that. However I got too many messages about when it was coming giving different dates. Also wasn't sure which item the message was about.

Won’t let me post a question so am resorting to a review. Could someone please describe the product—is it thick like marine vinyl? Or thin enough to be appliquéd to a garment? Product header says machine washable but description says hand wash/dry clean. Is it machine washable or not?

I ordered "white" - its actually a warm gray color. I bought this to make two of the mug rugs from the Mug Rug Vol 4 by Kimberbell for the life preserver applique (Happiness Comes in Waves design) and for the milk applique (We Go Together like Milk and Cookies design). I spent a lot of time working with embroidery software to change the second design so the text reads "Santa's Milk and Cookies" to make this one in particular for Christmas as gifts. At first I tried just making it with regular fabric but the finished edge would look like raw edge applique and the fabric edges would definitely fray so there is no other option but to use embroidery leather. I am not aware of any brand that I could trust on Amazon and I needed this sooner rather than later so I went with the Kimberbell brand because I had used their glitter sheets and it didn't give my machines problems even though it never adhered properly to the fabric using their instructions and had heard many others complain of the poor quality of their felt product line. It arrived in a box which I appreciate but the item I received was not white. The packaging is labeled as "white" but it is not white, its a light warm gray. Its not even off white or cream (I used it with fabric that had an off white color and fabric with a white color and it just does not look white next to white fabric or off white fabric) it does not look remotely close to white, I would say it looks like a light warm taupey gray color. It just looks out of place as a color for milk in particular. I presume this color was supposed to coordinate with the Milk and Cookies design to look like milk or the Happiness design so that the life preserver looks white. Either the product changed due to supply chain issues (in which case the photo should be updated and disclosed to customers), the photo was manipulated so it looks white and if so very deceptive marketing practices, or some other color was placed in this tube. It doesn't even look off white. How to use this to look like milk for the coordinating mug rug design?! Not possible. I really cannot say enough that if you would like a color for the milk applique for the milk and cookies mug rug in the vol 4 mug rug designs from Kimberbell I highly recommend that you a) do not buy this product and b) maybe ask for samples from another firm to see what the colors actually look like before purchasing them because this was a very expensive mistake and I wasted some very rare fabric from my stash.
