Q: Will this make watercolor or printed images bleed?

I've been using this product for a long time and have used it over many types of printed images. You have to be careful if the print is still wet, such as ink jet or felt pen. Make sure its absolutely dry. Then take a soft small paint brush and light brush on the first coat of Diamond glaze. Don't brush too hard or you might smear your print. Let it dry, then put on another coat if desired.

Q: Will this smear the ink on inkjet printed paper?

I think it depends upon the kind of inkjet you have. I use it on antique papers and the gold inks sometimes oxidize and turn green and some reds run. I would print a test print- and paint some glue/matte or gloss medium, whatever mediums you have in sections- If they don’t make it run, you are probably ok with this.

Q: Will this make a bead painted with nail polish chip proof and water proof? As well giving it a glass like appearance?

No. Diamond Glaze is not a resin, it may be water resistant, but prolonged water contact would be hazardous to the item.

Q: Will it make a very hard surface, similiar to resin?

Yes, it does make a hard surface. Because it is a water-based product, it isn't waterproof. A little water won't hurt, but you wouldn't wear it swimming!
