I put all the bulbs in the light fitting and switched on at the wall. After installing the LEDVANCE SMART+ APP labeled NEW from Google Play Store, I opened the app and created an account. Asked if it was a Wi-fi or Bluetooth device. Told me to turn on Bluetooth and paired them to my device. It then installed a firmware update to all the bulbs. The bulbs work brilliantly, can turn them on and off and even dim them using the app. Just make sure you you always have the wall light switch in the 'on' position and the bluetooth connected. It hardly costs anything to have the bulbs powered all the time. A good thing with the cost of living crisis.

Tried for over an hour to get this setup with my Alex smart home. The setup is complex and convoluted requiring device app download and setup then account linking with Alexa after which it still failed. Small print on the box says you need an ADDITIONAL Google app to connect over WiFi!! Unbelievable!! DO NOT BUY!!!

It's not a wireless or smart bulb as mentioned.

Well to get these to work directly with Alexa on an echo dot you need to download the correct app. There are 2 to choose from. 1 controls this firms smart devices, the other configures items.Using the configuration one you go in, turn on the bulb, pair it and choose the running option you want. I chose Alexa.I followed the instructions, paired the device and it worked, as did the second bulb I had from them.All good you ask? No.24 hours later both bulbs I did this for had dropped from Alexa. They showed as unresponsive in the Alexa app. They were both still turned on but simply did not work.Turning them on and off at the switch did start the bulb but not the connection to Alexa.Resetting the whole bulb and adding them again to Alexa as a new bulb did work. This time about 36 hours until they both dropped and changed to unresponsive on Alexa.3rd go was less than 24 hours for both.I may try these again with a Bluetooth hub, but as where I have installed such hubs they are also zigbee hubs and I have already installed cheaper and more reliable zigbee bulbs to those hubs, that may be some time.But for connection to an echo dot, yes they will work but only if you are happy resetting every couple of days. For any other connection I have yet to try most, and being so disappointed by the echo dot connection feel no impetus to try at this point.You can pair with your phone to switch but as that is nothing more than a remote control you would need to keep resetting for different rooms I’m not impressed by that when you can create a zigbee mesh home with a competitor’s product that would be cheaper including hub for just 3 roomsSo I can only give this 2 stars as while it only works as advertised with Alexa for short periods. The remote control function does work and I haven’t tried other Bluetooth hubs yet to see if better or the same as with Alexa.Without that limited functionality I know of and the possibility of better elsewhere I would be giving it 1 star only.That said I wouldn’t judge their zigbee or Wi-Fi products based on this experience, but for my own use with Alexa I won’t be buying their Bluetooth products again unless someone convinced me that the problem I experienced consistently with 2 of their bulbs will not happen again.

Good quality LED bulbs. I have been using them for over a year now. They are more cost effective than Phillips bulbs and equal in quality. The app works very well and was easy to set up.

Looks good, but terrible app and integration with Alexa. After struggling but finally managing to set the bulbs up on their app and also with Alexa, it would initially work. However, the next time I would try to control with the app or Alexa the device could not be found! Should have bought the wi-fi version instead of the Bluetooth version as it is meant to work much better.

I ordered this LED bulb to fit into outside decorative lamp.Arrived well protected and you can see lamp is not damage without removing from box.When opened box I was taken back how larger bulb is, was concerned about it fitting into standard outside lamp. It fitted no problem and fills lamp casing beautifully.Excellent quality bulb which lights up fully immediately providing a really strong garden light.Setting up with Apple home app was straight forward even for a novice, links via blue tooth to phone and you are able to control old fitted lights fully with your phone.Bulb looks great in outdoor light and has transformed an old fitting into a modern feature.Price is expensive for a light bulb but I would definitely be adding more smart light bulbs to my house.Overall, transformation to outside lighting with blue tooth control has converted me into the smart generation.I would recommend this product as it turns you current lamp into the 21st Century.

Cheap bulbs and it shows. Illegible instructions without a magnifier and the website is no help at all. The GU10 bulbs are a nightmare to pair and the qr code takes you to a blank page! In hindsight, I would’ve got different ones.

Bona bombet, totalment compatible amb Alexa. Es conecta de forma automàtica sense cap problema. Desde el dispositiu pots ajustar la intensitat a voluntat. Al 100% fa bona llum ambient, no per iluminar una estança, sino lampareta de lectura, d'ambient, etc... Lo millor el preu.
