Glue on the adapters
This set comes with two adapters. It doesn’t conform to most of the wooden train track sets sold in America. I superglued the adapters to the sloping pieces of track. There also aren’t any directions telling you how important these adapters are. Don’t loose them or it’s just another useless toy taking up space.

Nice little piece.
My son loves all things wooden trains. This comes with adapters to connect to the traditional wooden track design. No issues or complaints. Would buy again.

We love Thomas, 2 kids, 10 years apart
This is classic Thomas! I handed down my first born's Thomas toys who I bought for over 10 years ago. My toddler is obsessed. However, they changed up the way the tracks connect to each other. They did provide a converter piece which is super helpful.
