Honesty, all many of the negative reviews had to do was read the instructions and use a little common sense. It's sad that people prefer to leave a negative rating without trying a little harder or even reaching out. The brown paper at the back is supposed to be removed. That was you can see the correct side instead of the "inverted" one. Yes, it comes off people! Some people say it turns off but I haven't experienced that. I plugged mine into a Nintendo switch dock and it's been working like a charm. Others might be using some weak or unstable source of power. What is happening to this world.Anyways. It's a cool light! Go Twice!

Plug it in with the cord provided. Placed the acrylic twice logo in its slot (muscled it in at that. Barely fit) No lights. Nothing Is happening. The cord is actually getting hot oddly but there’s no lights. Pressed the “button” on top. Still nothing. Has a button logo that I’m suppose to press but it doesn’t feel like a button or any different from any other spot on the base. Pure junk... glad I’m Christmas shopping early.

Happy with my purchase. I didn’t see that it needed batteries but that’s ok it comes with a cord that you can plug into an adapter. Looks great against my twice album display :)
