Super Nintendo NES System - Mini Redesign

I would like to first and foremost apologize to the seller for not having left feedback months ago when I first purchased this. You see, I've been reliving my childhood since receiving this. Yeah, I was able to master those levels again like. a. boss. I'm so glad I got this!!!!!! I love it and it's brought me alot of pleasure. Thank you for such a clean product (for being so old). It looked brand new! And thank you for the fast shipping!!!

I got this from the seller Edward Kingston, who is no longer selling them, so I don't know weather anyone else will have the same problems I had since different sellers are now selling this Super Nintendo. In the first place, the seller that sold this console, failed to mention in the description that it did not come with any of the cords, controls, or the power adapter. Imagine my chagrin when my daughter in-law called me (200 miles away) to let me know that the Super Nintendo I sent to my 5 year old great grandson for his birthday did not have anything to go with it to make it play. So I called Amazon and complained how the description of this console failed to mention this--no one buys a console to play without the cords, etc. Amazon said that they would make note of what I said about the description. I was then directed to all the places on Amazon where I could buy the cords, etc. I ordered those, brand new, and had them sent to my great grandson. But then when my daughter in-law hooked everything up, the console would not work at all!! My great grandson's little sister had my old Super Nintendo (just exactly like the one I bought him) that was about 12 years old. So my daughter in-law tried all the controllers, cords, & adapters with the old console--it worked perfectly. So that proved that there was nothing wrong with the hardware that I bought to make the new one work. I called Amazon and told them what happened. They were gracious enough to have UPS pick it back up and shipped back to them at no charge to me and gave me credit back for this Nintendo. Now my great-grandson is upset because he has all those Super Nintendo games and nothing to play them on. (His sister won't let him play with hers!) He wants me to order another one, but I feel really leery about ordering another one. I might take a chance on someone else, but I just don't know which seller to choose who may be reliable when it comes to selling quality products. If anyone can tell me which seller usually sells the most quality products, I would appreciate the suggestion. You can not always rely on those ratings for sellers I found out.If I could have given this product a zero rating, I would have. But as I said, it might be just the sellers fault why this one did not work.

For an oem redesign, it is what I expected: a super Nintendo, only smaller and streamlined. I had the original model back in the day, but this feels just as authentic when playing zelda.

Really cool smaller version of the Super Nintendo. These consoles don't get the yellowing plastic like some of the original models do. They only output video with an A/V cable, so no RF or coaxial cables work with these. I have heard people say online that this console does not output video in S Video without being modded. The original model does output S Video without being modded. But I love this version. It's smaller, it looks nice, and it plays my SNES games just fine in 2017. Works with the Super Gameboy adapter too. A good buy for me!

Came in a day earlier then expected, works as intended, and even makes my Alttp Randomizer play perfectly. (old Snes crashed in problem areas).

The SNES arrived exactly as described and works perfectly. 5 stars

this is a great buy i got this instead of a regular super nintendo as it is cheaper .....im not regretting it.It comes with ac adapter audio video cords and one controller although my seler gAve me a programmable controller not that its vad but a regular controller is more prefered thats why this gets 4 stars anyway it works great and you should definateley get this if you had a super nintendo or would like a console to start collecting on.

So happy to finally own one. I remember when they were first coming out just as the N64 released me and my brother asked if we could have one and our parents told us that we already had a snes why would we need another so instead we got an N64 which isnt a bad thing but by far the snes is still one of my fav systems of all time. The model 2s work great and unlike the NES 2 they did it right this time using the Component or T connector that we all know and love

I have a multi-chip original that I've played heavily since I got it used in 1997. This is a definite upgrade for me, as the jr. was produced later than mine and tends to be in better shape than the earlier model. Just be cautious when buying one, as they were illegally reproduced a number of years ago in a manner almost externally indistinguishable. Outputting from it to a modern television might cause you trouble too, but old CRT units with low power consumption are easily acquired at any Sally Anne or junk shop. Wish I had received one of the pack-in controllers with the debossed logo, as they too are generally superior to earlier versions. Not sure why I'm taking the time to review something you should be well aware of, but I've heard and seen some pretty foolish things around the net.

Tested unit and controller, everything works. Disappointing a corner of the console shell is chipped and broken off. I didn’t realize the SNES controller has a couple large areas of electrician tape for what I can assume is exposed wires. Wish I had more pictures pre-purchase I would have gone with a unit not damaged or with red and gold permanent marker everywhere.
