Great artwork, predictable storyline.
A problem I have when reviewing, is when I review a work where I really, find all the main character’s, moral character, and compass, so alien to my own sensibilities, that I truly dislike all the characters portrayed in the work. When ever this occurs, I find it impossible to find an empathetic entry point, to reference the story, the work, or the entire project! How do I try to objectively evaluate a story, in which I simply can not find any compelling reason to identify or care about any of the main characters, nor anything that happens to them? That’s how I feel about this work!Frankly I could not care less if they achieve their goal! I simply can’t find any empathy for any of them! The use of the character’s sexual preference appeared to only be evident in the story to shock or tantalite and had little relevance to anything else. That summarizes the storyline. The visual art is stunning, and I felt that at several points carried the story through the points where I didn’t find any empathy for the actual characters, had it not been for the visual ability of the artwork to sustain, for me, the continuity, I would not have given the work three stars.

One Look + You're 'Screwed'...
I'm not a big reader of Zenescope graphic novels - most appear to be selling T&A (of which I am a big fan, IF used correctly) and seem light on plotlines + development. But I am a huge fan of certain reinventions + reimaginings, like the Bride of Frankenstein, rewritten here. So I gave it a shot + was more than compensated for my suspended beliefs, and heartily recommend this to anyone who enjoys the Frankenstein mythos, X-Files and visceral balls-to-the-wall carnage + hyper-violence.Add a bit of Nazi backstory, severely dysfunctional family dynamics, a dash of Sapphic subplot, a dollop of conspiratorial cover-ups, then heavily pepper the dialogue with cutting edge cursing, wicked sarcasm + cultural references, and you've got yourself one helluva story w/ great artwork that can't be put down. Read 2 pages and you're 'Screwed'...

Possibly the worst graphic novel I have ever read
This is just a terrible slurry of Rob Liefeldian "art" and a ridiculous cliche-ridden story with no likeable characters, covered in cheap gore, two-bit monsters and badly drawn half-naked women. Way-too-detailed, very creepy depictions of dismembered women hanging on meat hooks abound (ladies, don't date this guy). This is the kind of crap that I thought they stopped trying to pass off as "indie comics" in the 1980s. It's so wretched, I couldn't even finish it. Pure and unadulterated garbage. The art didn't offend me, the fact that someone would try to pass off this **** as readable offends me. This guy should be forbidden from doing comics ever again until he apologizes to the universe for the **** he took on it by publishing this.

A good comic to purchase of the Frankenstein myth with a modern twist of her being female test subject of an experiment.

Interesting?
The art was well done, though the story and plot felt rushed. The biggest issue is the fact that the protagonist killed almost as many people as the villain! Makes it really hard to root for the hero. Mildly entertaining but not memorable.
