GenTeal Lubricant Eye Gel, Severe Dry Eye Relief

This product cured my severe dry eye symptoms when the prescription my opthamologist gave me could not.. I use this every single night. When I get up in the middle of the night I use it again. When I wake in the morning my eyes feel so great - not a sign of any dryness. They feel lubricated and ready for the day ahead. I have found that by doing this I have less need to use artificial tears or any other gel drops until the afternoon, whereas I used to use drops every couple of hours from the time I woke up to the time I went to bed. I recently acquired a sulcata tortoise from a reptile expo. When I first picked it up, he looked pretty healthy but on the car ride home he shut his eyes and didn't open them for days. I was very worried and daily water soaks didn't seem to help. I then soaked it in baby food (carrots) every night and it would open its eyes for just long enough for me to feed it a tiny bit. I knew that routine wouldn't last and after about a week I purchased some Zoo Med Repti Turtle Eye drops and this package of eye gel. I put one drop on each closed eye and within a couple of minutes, the tortoise would open its eyes long enough to eat. It isn't fully cleared yet, but they do seem to be helping and I am happy about that. I heard from my vet that this type of eye gel is safe to use on tortoises. I'm fairly certain that the worst is over thanks to these two products.I haven't tried them on my own eyes yet, but I'll have it on hand for when I need this!

The photo on the website had the words preservative free ( which my Dr wants me to use). When I received the order it did not say preservative free & has a bunch of preservatives listed on the box. I have been trying to contact where it was shipped from & cannot get any info.

I use it daily for my husband. I don't love it, but it may be the best we have tried so far.

Great product, I put one drop per eye just before bed and it gives my eyes a good start to the day.

fantastic eye drops! My dog has dry eyes and his eyes look soooo much better now, and he loves them. When it's time for his drops he trots right up and holds his head up so I can put them in.

I have severe dry eyes so at night I put this on before bed. It works better than the prescription drops from the doctors.
