I highly recommend this book on many levels. The author(s) keep your interest. The writing flows from chapter to chapter without wasted words. The story is told perfectly. Not only is the writing superb but the story is extremely interesting. I can not believe that I never heard about these robberies. You will be hooked from the first page. The man who committed these crimes is fascinating to learn about. I truly feel that there should be a documentary based on this book. I would love to see the story told, on screen, from the persons involved. Even if this story is not the genre you usually read (it wasn't mine) go out and purchase it. You won't be disappointed.

If you want to read a great true crime story by a real FBI agent, this is it. The crime story itself is very compelling. However, you will also learn about the making of an FBI agent, how a crime is investigated, and how the FBI works with local law enforcement and attorneys. It's a page turner!

Incredible read from start to finish. I couldn't put the book down! Agent Ray Carr did the FBI proud with his zest for perseverance in apprehending a mastermind bank robber.
