It is best to press out any remaining chocolate from the pen before filling it with a different color.

Q: I received our product but, it looks like it might be an old icing pack? is there a way to tell. It is really hard and they all have spots on them?

After melting and using the chocolate the old spots are still there and the stuff you make looks like crap and not edible!
