Surprisingly Beautiful Little Music Player!
I bought this AGPtEK M20 Music Player Plus for my "Birthday" and it is a GREAT BUY! This MP3 Player has the best sound and music playing ability! There is no doubt about the clarity of the music. The volume is "loud" to me on around 8 or 9. To get the best listening pleasure, I use an over the head set of headphones, Kensington Brand, that's light weight and packs a punch in pushing the sound out evenly on both left and right sides. The earphones that comes with the AGPtEK M20 are probably OK for those who have ears that can hold them comfortably, but I can't deal with that pain so I bought some smaller earbuds with volume control for when I walk outside and want to listen to my music. The over the head headphones are for when I'm at home doing laundry or household things and can't deal with earbuds wanting to wiggle out of my ears. The only drawback and it's not really a major issue, because the "music playing" is the REAL reason why this Player is the BOSS, but the software is a little weird. I played around with it and found out that the date and time functions were crazy to set unless you set it on your preferred choice and you like it that way. I made the decision to accept it for what it gave me, the time without am/pm showing and the date showing the format as Year, Month and Day, instead of Month, Day, and Year. Syncing music to this M20 Player is so easy and I've done it 3 different ways. I synced music from my computer, clicked, dragged and dropped music from my phone's memory card that I didn't want to put on my computer (eating up HD space) and then I was happy that the Seller provided me (via email) with a software called "Media Go" by Sony that allows me to sync Whole Playlists from the music off the computer and my phone into the M20 Player as simple as just creating playlists, selecting, clicking and moving. Thing is I didn't even have to grab the music off the computer and phone because I had already put it on the M20, but I didn't realize that at first. So, when I connected the M20 Player and saw that I could create Playlist with the music already on it, that made me go, "Well, alright then."I now have 5 Playlists of 40 to 100 songs in each playlist on my M20 synced from "Media Go" and plan to create a couple more in the future. The misconception in the Playlist format on the M20 is that you can only have "3 Playlists", but that is completely not true when using the "Media Go" software to create them for the M20 Player. Oh and another thing about "Media Go", you can grab the music to compile your playlists in several different ways: by folders, by song titles, by song numbers, by song genres and all can be done during the same compilation of songs to the playlists. I had a lot of fun figuring out and finding out what things I could do to make it easier and faster to make my playlists. The other functions on the M20 Player, i.e., voice recorder and book reader thing, I have not tried yet. Maybe I will after I get through creating all those playlists I have in mind. Charging it is very easy also, just hook it up to your computer's USB and it will charge itself just fine, of course, the computer has to be turned ON...just saying. LOL, is that still a thing.I'm very pleased with this music player +! I LOVE THIS PURCHASE and it was nicely priced for my low budget life at this time and life situation.

I wasn't given a discount or blah blah blah This player is great, simple and feels good
I was looking at this for some time and I decided to just go ahead and get it. I wasn't given a discount or blah blah blahThis player is great, simple and feels good. No more iTunes baby! Just drag and drop like the good old days.Great little device, and I mean it is TINY, like a lighter.Other facts: it has pretty nice type for Japanese too, I was surprised it could display songs with foreign titles.Only downside, the lock has an animation that plays when you flick the switch, and you can't hit any buttons during the 2 seconds. So that's just kind of annoying. But life isn't about focusing on every tiny detail. This thing does so much right. It's like complaining about a lack of ketchup on your burger, I mean, you still get the burger!

5 Star MP3 for $30-
update: july, 20187 months after purchase date, after daily use, the FM player no longer worked, total dead. i rebooted the system but not able to fix the problem. then 9 months after purchase date, the user interface stopped working, i could no longer forward songs forward or backward.while the audio quality still maintains at 100% but without a functioning UI, i cannot use this device and have to trash it.nonetheless, i am maintain my 5 Stars rating because i only paid $28 for this. compared this to my previous iPod, costs me over $200 and lasted only 3 yrs, that's average out to over $60 per year compared to this $28 for 1 year... AGPTEK M20 far exceeds the value.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------surprised that this $30- device delivers high quality sound.although the sound quality, as judging from playing acoustic jazz on this device, lacks a little "warmth" (or mid range and bass sound), however, the difference compared to Cowon's i Audio ($150) or Apple iPhone ($700+) is not significant, may be 20% at most. for me the 20% difference doesn't justify the hundreds $ more spent on other highend MP3 devices.the difference in sound quality dissipates when one listens to eBooks or talk radio programming (yes, the FM radio reception is excellent)consider the $30- pricing, i wholeheartedly give 5 Stars

A very good MP3 player for a very reasonable price
All in all, this is a pretty good MP3 player. It plays a variety of file formats, playback is entirely without problem (no skipping, undue pauses, etc.), and the display is crisp, bright, and clear. The ability to use micro SD cards to increase memory capacity is a huge plus, BUT playing songs from the card as opposed to the internal memory adds an extra step to the process: instead of just pressing "play," you have to tell the player to "load" the card and play the songs from a separate menu. Navigating away from that card menu to go to, for example, the built-in FM radio or the settings, negates "loading" the card and to go back to the music you have to do the whole thing over again. The display's serif font is a slight downside to the otherwise fine display: it looks a little chunky, and it only displays plain ASCII text. Accented characters and other alphabets WILL display, but in a different sans-serif font at a different size, so seeing the two combined together is not the best appearance. Navigation through long lists of songs, artists, albums, etc., is time consuming. The short animation of a picture of a padlock locking and unlocking every time you use the "lock" switch is unnecessary as the player refuses to respond to commands as the animation is showing. Other than those relatively minor deficiencies, though, this is a very well-performing player, its small size fits quite literally anywhere, and I'm glad I didn't pay a fortune for far more expensive players that really aren't adding that many improvements other than a certain brand name.
