Works very well in a serger machine
Loved this thread, it was perfect for my sewing project, the color matched perfectly. Used in my serger machine, sewed beautifully.

Good buy!
I purchased 4 comes of this thread in a few colors - black, white, dark blue, red, and a tan color after reading recommendations for those colors when getting started with serging. This thread seems to work well, I didn't have any issues with breakage, and those colors seem to cover all my bases with whatever fabric in using it on. A good product but maybe shop around a bit for the best price. There's a lot of variance between sellers.

Not as dark as photo
Great quality but the gray is not as dark as in the photo. I have 4 light gray and it's hard to tell them apart. They are just a subtle shade darker. The label says steel so it's the correct item.

Makes sewing bags easier with this amount of thread
Use this thread for making bags and pillows for our shoe boxes every year. Making 10 of each a breeze.

Excellent thread - the best - but horrible price
A&E Maxi-Lock and Coats SureLock are, by far, the best serger threads on the market. I've used them all and the cheaper brands fray, break, and jam up my machines. Sadly, though, other on-line sellers carry Maxi-Lock for nearly half the price.

I should remember why I don't care for Maxi-Lock thread ...
I should remember why I don't care for Maxi-Lock thread before I buy any more. Cheap thread with loads of lint production which gums up any serger. Guess I bought this because the color seems to match what I was making, but I will remember to only seek out Mettler Seracor from this point forward.

Maxi Lock is the best thread for your serger and this one is a pretty color!!
A very nice military red. Color is just as pictured. Arrived fast and for this price it is a steal. I highly recommend Maxi Lock Thread to anyone who owns a serger. It does not get all linty like many other serging threads and knock on wood I have never had it break.
