Perfect instructions
Very easy to apply from instructions on the container. We had two areas that were damaged in the garage from water shooting from a hose, this was an excellent remedy and looks very good. The price was excellent and it was shipped quickly via Prime.

Easy to use - a near perfect finish!
Can't say enough about this product. Blows spray can products out of the water!I'm a taper/plasterer and this is the one you want for the acoustic ceiling repair. No mess or overspray. Patch and tape deficiency. Skim tight. Prime with stain-blocking Zinsser (I apply two coats - It's overkill but the mud soaks up so much of the first coat. Plus it dries so quickly you can coat again almost immediately). Allow the primer to dry completely, then trowel or knife on Zinsser texture and stipple with texturing sponge to desired texture. Let dry and repeat if necessary. Dip the sponge in the mixture and add additional "dabs" to the line between old and new. Takes a bit of an artistic eye.. stepping down and looking from a few different angles is encouraged. Aggregates can be spread thinner or made more condensed, depending on the style of popcorn youre trying to match. The stuff even has a pleasing smell.. An easy 5 star review. Also, I have to say.. Other users have rated lower due to the fact that the finished color does not match their ceiling color.....*sigh* ..If your expectation was that this product will magically look exactly the same as your aged, previously painted ceiling..without a fresh seal and top coat of paint, you should leave fixes and remodels to the pros. You are not cut out for this.FIVE STARS!

Very good product for repairing popcorn ceiling.
Like: very easy to apply on top of the repaired plain drywall ceiling. I used brush to tape it on the ceiling after premier. The colour is very close to the old popcorn ceiling after dry. But I still painted with white paint (colour matched in hardware store by using old popcorn ceiling chips). I’m the first time to do this popcorn ceiling repair but result is fantastic. You almost can’t see the difference if you’re not looking at it carefully.I recommend this product. Very expensive to hire professional people to do the job.

Very handy product
This patch was a major help when I had to repair an acoustic ceiling. It adheres well and is pretty easy to apply. The texture is not a perfect match to my ceiling, but it's close enough and can be worked a bit to make it better. Two tips based on my experience with this product. Your mileage may vary!First, the patch instructions are a bit ambiguous as to whether primer is needed. However, I learned the hard way that this patch causes water stains in the ceiling unless the area is primed. So now I always use the recommended shellac primer before applying the patch.Second, the patch instructions say "painting is not necessary." This was incorrect on my ceiling, maybe because the ceiling had aged enough to be darker than the color of the patch. To achieve a color match, I painted the patch with paint that was custom-matched to the rest of the ceiling. I'd have had to paint anyway, due to the water stains (until i learned to prime first).Bottom line: I had to prime before applying the patch and to paint afterward. This took a fair amount of time and effort, but the result is a repair that's hardly visible and I'm pleased with it.

Gets The Job Done For Cracks In Ceiling
This worked really well to touch up areas in my popcorn ceilings. (A few lengthy cracks and water damage spots) At first once dried it looked slightly grey and didn't quite match the rest of the ceiling area. With some trial and error I found that adding a small amount of tools strait-line standard white marking chalk into a batch made it nearly the same shade of white as the ceilings once dried. The end color match was good enough that repainting the entire ceiling wasn't neccessary.
