Harsh - doesn't glide through tangles like other reviewers said - havanese/ quick brushing makes him look nice
Recommended by Chris Christensen on his website for Havanese. I have only had it two days - brushed my thick, long, fine hair with it and it seemed harsh on my scalp and didn't seem to glide through my tangles. My dog doesn't like it either. I do like the 20mm wood pin small pocket brush & think it may be worthy of the $25. Walmart conair wet detangle brush for $6 works good in combination with Chris Christensen's $25 20mm wood pin brush (one of the pins broke after a year).**********UPDATED: ........mature adult Havanese in adult thick full coat ........ works nicely on this coat. quick brush with this makes him look nice. Won't take out the tangles/small mats, I have to use the comb for that ....... okay, but $50 is a whole lot of money for a brush, even if it does have brass pins. If your dog doesn't have a very dense coat - this brush is useless. I use it now, but didn't for a very long time. It is NOT a brush you need for young puppies or dogs, until they get a full -very heavy, thick coat. It is not a brush I think I would spend $50 on again if I lost it or it breaks ..... I do like the buttercomb 006 ...

The very best brush of its kind
In the past 40 years of having heavy-coated dogs, I've tried many brands of dog brushes that are similar to this one. Without a doubt, I can say this is the very best dog brush of its size and kind. Yes, it's one of the most expensive. But when it comes to dog brushes, you will get what you pay for.

Nicest pet brush I own
Brush all the pets. Very nice. Did notice a pin missing the other day. It may have popped out during dog bath when it had been covered by the towel and I accidentally placed my knee down on it so I can’t say it’s a quality issue. I am sad though as it’s an expensive brush. I use it daily in conjunction with a slicker and an old boar bristle brush to keep all the pets (dogs and cats) in fine fettle.

Great brush
I love this brush for my girl. She is a havanese/poodle mix and has a pretty thick coat. I keep her in a longer "puppy" cut and this brush gets all the tangles out (I brush her daily) I bought mine 2 years ago and use it daily and am just thinking of buying a new one, definitely worth the money to me :-)

Great German Shepherd brush
Using The Chris Christensen Fusion brush as the main brush for my German Shepherd dog.He LOVES it!Dog Dad loves the brush and did not complain about the price. We, dog parents, are happy to have replaced the Furminator for a more appropriate brushing tool. Thanks Chris Christensen and the shops that sell it here on Amazon.
