•Why did I pick this book?The blurb!The way in which the author has written the blurb is commendable.It made me more curious regarding the book.This might be the first book which I took purely because of the description.•What is the book all about?The book is a collection of stories.What kind of stories?Horror ones!!Basically,the book revolves around one hotel 'Villagio'.The people who visit this hotel experience something abnormal.Ghosts,paranormal activities,horror and many other things.Basically,the book is divided into 2 parts.First parts deals with the experiences of the visitors and the second part explains the reason behind it.What are these reasons?Why are visitors experiencing paranormal things?What is happening to them?Grab the book and unfold the reasons behind it.•Did I like the book?Yess...I liked this one.Looking at the blurb,I picked the book and no doubt it was amazing!The blurb rightly described the whole plot.The book is of 160 pages.So it won't take your much time.Though,I completed it in 3-4 sittings(credit goes to my exams😅).But it was amazing.Talking about the stories,they are thrilling,gripping,and intriguing.The stories are actually interesting and horrifying.I haven't read many books of the horror genre but I would say that this book is a blast.The stories are quite gripping and they will not let you keep the book down until you finish it.The second part is also interesting because the reasons are very well written.The narration done by the author is amazing!The title describes the book very well.The cover is attractive too!The language is simple and lucid.Its not very complex.Even a beginner can read this book easily.Grab this amazing book if you are looking for something thrilling and horrifying.

If someone asks me to describe this book in one word, I'll just say spooky.A well written book which has been narrated from the author's perspective. A well narrated collection of stories set in the Villagio Hotel. The stories are based on incidents that are happening in the rooms of the hotel with the stories concluding in the final story where all the mysteries unravel.This is certainly one of the best books on horror stories. It's one of a kind horror book which embodies some of the most famous urban legends like the story on stalking on social media. The setting of stories in the fabled Tasmania where everyone knows the origin of the most famous Dracula took place, so the name of Tasmania and horror stories there is enough to send chills down the spine. The suspense created by the author is spot on and something which many other horror books miss. The narration is fluid and flawless and there are no breaks in between only suspenseful reading which makes you think what will happen now and it makes things more and more interesting. There is not any story which I’ll say that it’s my favorite as all of them are equally scary, but if someone asks, then The Follower on Instagram would be my favorite as it encompasses the modern day obsession to social media and how it can become scary in a split second. Do You Think I am Beautiful is one spooky read which follows the classic ghost stories concept. Overall it’s a very good read. I certainly recommend it to every reader out there who wants a good old fashioned horror story with a touch of modernity and the horrors which the current world possess.I had never been a fan of horror stories, but reading this piece of work has made me rethink my choices for reading horror stories.

The book "Check in check" out by author Keran Panthh Joshi is a kind of spine chilling horror book that gives you chills with its 10 great stories , in which 9 stories are about ghosts, evil spirits, gores, satanic practices, evil dolls etc and the last one is the story that unfolds the reason and climax of the horror in Villagio hotel. When I picked this book, I had a feel of check in and check out being related to hotel, as normally we do check in and check out in a hotel but the hotel Villagio here seems to be haunted. And I would never like to visit such one. Therefore I preferred to read it during day time in order not to make my night a sleepless one. The story of the doll that follows the girl is quite horrorsome. I liked all the stories equally but the suspense came to end when I read the last chapter of it. The way author has presented the scenes and the surrounding situations is quite commendable. Reading the book itself gives you some thought provoking feeling of ghosts. Though I do not believe in ghosts but yes reading it is bit scary. The stories are from the visitors from different countries and their experiences who stayed in Villagio hotel and had a horrible stay. Each chapter starts with some eerie lines, that prepare you to get scared in lines to follow.The book is short and can be completed in a few hours. Stories are gripping and full of horror. Language used by author is simple and the terms used are bit unique and have some meaning in the ghost history. Cover of the book is quite exciting and title is enough to grab the book and read it. Overall a must read for all horror story lovers.

I am an avid horror fan. I love reading horror books and watching horror films. This book has some amazing horror short stories. The author Keran is an excellent storyteller and writes in a very simplified manner. Kudos to the author !!!
