I love the Velcro, makes diaper changes way easier than snaps and it’s very durable Velcro. I like the flap on the inside in the front to tuck your insert into but I wish there was one on the inside on the back as well because while I’m changing my baby’s diaper the insert often doesn’t stay in place. These are good quality but honestly if I could go back I think I would have just gone with all pocket diapers so that I could just pre stuff them with inserts and have them ready to go and put on baby rather than trying to change out inserts at every diaper change. Another problem I have with this method of cloth diapers is baby ends up having wetness touching his skin unless you add a fleece liner which is just another thing to worry about and My energy is precious. I chose the covers and inserts method because it’s cheaper than most aio or ai2 systems but then I found alvababy pocket diapers with built in fleece on the inside and they are only 5-6$ each. However I do respect Thirsties as a company and like that it’s made in US. If I had the money I would probably buy all pocket diapers from Thirsties but that is way too pricey for me. If you already know you prefer covers and inserts I would definitely recommend these but if you haven’t chose what method to use I have to say personally I wouldn’t choose this method again bevause it’s too complicated and not cheaper when compared to alvababy pocket diapers

These covers are great and I don't care what anyone says, the tabs are SO much easier then snaps - especially at 2, 4 and 6 in the morning. Didn't dock a star for it but beware that the leg gussets are easily stained. Even still they contain the poop'spolsion which is all that matters in diapering. And the stains do recede with sunning and multiple washes so maybe its my wash routine. Either way we love these covers as they're the only ones we have that work consistently with my thin legged, skinny little 8 pound, 2 month old baby.

Absolutely love these! We use them when we are home and disposable ones when out — it works perfectly for us! We didn’t start using these until our babies’ umbilical cord fell off because the diaper was rubbing against it a bit and it was hard to make them lower so they didn’t rub, but other than that, they are great! We haven’t really had any blow outs with them and we have with disposables. There is slight staining from poop in the lighter colored diapers, but that doesn’t bother me. I also think these are easier to change than disposables, too! I highly recommend them.

Love these diaper covers! We are on baby number two now and we are using these covers from our first kiddo. We bought a variety of styles and brands and most didn't hold up nearly as well as these, so we bought more of these to round out our stash for number two.Things we love: cute colors and patterns!Gussets! We have never really had a blowout in these and believe me they try mightily. The gussets really hold in the mess.Velcro is so much easier to use in the middle of the night than those damn snaps.Less diaper rash - our kiddos both appear to have sensitive skin so kept getting diaper rah with plastic disposable diapers. Switching to cloth or compostable inserts made a huge difference.We use these with the gdiaper and Alva baby inserts (cloth and disposable) and converted all the trifold diapers into burp cloths. Combined with these covers, the liners are just as absorbent but are much more breathable so baby isn't soaking in pee quite as much.The only con is that you have to make sure to close the Velcro before you toss it into the laundry or it gets stuck to other clothes.

I'm really happy with these! Thirsties has really upped the quality of their construction - the velcro is thick and the covers have plenty of room for my chunky 20lb-er in a prefold. I've been cloth diapering for 6 years now (oh lord!) and these are definitely my favorite cover to use! High rise in the front, double gusset is great, and has caught multiple potential blow outs in the back! I've read concerns about staining on the white trim, but if you spray with a diaper sprayer before you rinse in the washer, there are no problems. You got to get in there people! ;-) I would recommend you never, ever put them in the dryer, and also never rinse with vinegar, because it will degrade your elastic over time. Now I only use Charlie's soap, and no problems with any diapers. Happy diapering!

These are the best diaper covers ever! I only use Thirsties, but I bought used before as I wasn't sure how into cloth diapering I would be. These covers are adjustable, my 2 3/4 year old who is 37lbs wears the same size cover overnight as my 15month old does. These covers last the only reason I bought more is that my two kids are now in the same size, I'm not even sure how old my first "used" set is but they are still going strong and i have been using them over 2 years now. I can't believe how many blow outs these covers have saved me, my kids don't blow out even with the largest poops, but everytime my 15 month old poops in a disposable its all over his pants :(

These are my favorite. I was gifted a stash from a friend and got all different kinds of covers. An older version of the thirstier seemed to be the best. I need a few more so I ended up buying this at because it was the best price/ value. These turned out to be way better than I imagined. They are our first choice for every diaper change. The 6 pack is just enough if you are starting out. Easy to wash, quick to dry and we never get any leaks even with total poopy blow out situations.

I like the snap Duo Wraps but not the hook and loop. I wish that the velcro worked because they would be easier than the snaps. However, the velcro is stiff and the top of the diaper would fold down causing the sharp edge of the velcro to irritate my son's stomach. However, Thirsties is a great company. I emailed them to ask them if they had suggestions and they are replacing them w snap Duo Wraps. Also Thirsties AIO is the best!

I like Thirsties diaper covers. Using them with Osocozy better fit prefolds. I find the hook and loop easier to use than snaps.I found out the hard way: don't use vinegar on these covers. And they say you can dry in the dryer but just don't... it's better to let them hang to dry even if you are drying your diapers in the dryer (as I do).The covers work well. We don't have blowouts or leaks. Don't let the trim touch against the diaper inside or the wetness will wick through.
