MAX GREEN Tesla to J1772 Adapter Fast Charging(Max40A,250V) from UMC (Tesla Connector) to J1772 (Type-1 US EV Connector) for Electric Vehicle Car Charger, Tesla Adapter, Mobile Connector

I use this charge my Kia Niro EV. I plugged the destination charger into this device, then the device+charger into my Niro EV. I was worried because it didn't work at first, but I learned that once it's plugged in, I have to turn on the car and then turn it off again to get the charge going. Not sure if it's the Destination charger waiting to hear from the car to push the charge OR if it's the car itself causing the need to turn on-then-off. Either way, it works, and I hope this information helps someone else avoid that awkward 4 minutes of troubleshooting it took me to get it going.

The media could not be loaded.  Was a little worried at first. Upon first plug-in my vehicles light turn red and flash twice then turned white again. About 10 seconds later it turned white and then started flashing green. I then went on my mobile app and clicked start charging the light turned solid green and began charging my vehicle. I have tested this on three different destination chargers now and they all have functioned. I have seen an average of 7 kw to 7.8 kw while using tesla destination chargers.

This converter does not work for a regular electric vehicle from a tesla pump, that should be communicated clearly to a potential buyer!!!!!

Works perfectly. Have tested it on my 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Electric with tesla destination chargers as well as the tesla mobile connector which i purchased. Highly recommended the tesla mobile connector as you can buy addition adapters for any outlet you may run into. Not many other EVSEs at this price point offer the same!

This seemed to be a really good product at a great price. I would have LOVED it if it had worked with the Tesla stations but alas. Tried it at two different ones and neither would charge my Mustang Mach-E. Booooooooooooooooo!!!

Cuento con el adaptador de Electron, pero por cuestiones de un nuevo EV en la familia es necesario tener un segundo adaptador.Ambos hacen una gran función, sacarte del apuro, simplemente me encanta este adaptador, por el costo es un gran accesorio que haría una gran diferencia en la experiencia de un Vehículo eléctrico (si tienes un Tesla recomendaría demasiado un J1772 a un Tesla)Editado: lo ocupe en un Nissan Leaf 2017, desde el adaptador Electron siempre es una manera diferente de carga el auto con un cargador Tesla, el paso es apagar tu vehículo abrir la compuerta de carga, encender tu vehículo y conectar el cargador con el adaptador, posteriormente lo vuelves a pagar y listo carga el auto.Estaré actualizando la reseña si llega a pasar algo con este adaptador al igual que podría compararlo con el de la Marca Electron, pero por el momento 100% recomendado.Funciona sin problema en Chevy Volt 2019.

This is no better than a level one charger plugged into a regular outlet. I have used this for 6 months and on many different Tesla chargers. When it actually works and doesn't read error from the charger, the max it charges is 2.4 kWh.Way overpriced but I still use it for lack of options for adapter. Don't buy this if you need to rely on charging with it.I contacted the company about the problem but they were not helpful at all.
