AngelusCollector's Edition Paint in Thunder Yellow

I bought this to paint over my dinning room chairs- which aren’t real leather. I figured if it didn’t work, it wasn’t a huge deal. It’s been about a month and the chairs are holding up excellent. The color is beautiful, it was easy to paint on- smooths out any brush strokes basically on its own, and covers great. Most importantly though it seems to be very durable. I sit in my dinning chairs more than anywhere else in the house and I haven’t noticed any wear at all. I also have two dogs that jump and scratch and they haven’t been able to penetrate the paint layer either. Yesterday I decided to paint some shoes I have that I never wear because they are white. They look so cool now that they are blue. 1 tiny jar painted 4 dinning chairs. Love it!

I was hesitant to use paint for a knife sheath given how much wear and tear it will get but I went ahead anyway because I really wanted a bright yellow sheath to go with this bright colored knife I made.I painted this sheath well over a month ago and have been carrying and using this knife since. The sheath as been in my pocket for days on in, thrown in my backpack, tossed around my workbench, the strap has been opened and closed countless times.... and the paint still looks fantastic! It has not chipped or cracked or even scuffed away. I really figured the stretching and pulling on the strap would crack the paint off but it has not.I just followed the manufacturer's instructions from their youtube video and I'm VERY VERY happy with the results. I did about 4 coats to get it very bright and opaque and they were easy to apply and no brush marks!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Be patient and apply a lot of thin coats, but the color once you get it to a nice opacity is absolutely the bright lime green I was hoping for. I actually applied it to the sole of a pair of boots for a cosplay, with the sole part being more rubbery and the heel being coated wood and it held up well in both areas. I wore the boots around for an entire day at Tokyo Disney Sea, and the paint held up everywhere except the tip part of the heel.I did also seal the paint, but I didn't apply any primer. I don't know how well the paint would've held up on other parts of the boot.

I bought this for my son (who restores sneakers) because he is restoring a pair of Nike French Blue 12's. So, with that said, this is about 2 shades darker. Other than that. I think this works well and once dry (and properly shaded) it looks great. There isn't much here, but for restoring, I think it will last him for a while. It dries relatively quickly so don't leave it open. We used the same brands white and mixed it well.
