I purchased this Thronmax stand, and it worked well, but the first joint stopped working and broke. As a last resort, I tried to fix it and asked the manufacturer if they had any parts or give me a tip to fix it. They asked me to send the original invoice and replied by sending me a brand-new unit. A beautiful and functional stand in every regard.First and foremost, it does a great job of holding a mic. Ive got my large and heavy Blue Yeti mic mounted., and stand required not a single adjustment out of box; the mic stays in place perfectly,with no arm rise. The stand is solidly built out of quality materials that feel substantial and has a nice touch.Mounting the stand to a point of usability took less than 40 seconds and was completely intuitive.The boom moves out of the way when not in use,and is easy to pull into use in just a matter of seconds.It looks great on my desk and complements my desk nicely.At less than $70,this thing is a bargain and value by any definition.I am absolutely thrilled 😄 with this purchase..

So the Sturdiness is great for the value of money. And the quality of the material is good as well, however for the tension which seems they use a cheap cable that after my setup on day one and put it together the cable inside had snapped and broke. I'm hoping the new one I get doesn't have the same issue and hoping it was a fluke or manufacturer defect. Sometimes it happens but in all honesty the one I get will look as good as a compass I will recommend it to others.
