I bought this at home depot over a year ago and I can say for me it's just fine. It DEFINITELY improved the taste of the water, I could tell immediately when drinking my water then taking a sip of my boyfriends (he does straight out of the faucet, calls my water 'too fancy' for him...whatever) I taste the difference. I've had my filters for over a year and the flow rate is fine. I'm only going to change them as I think they should be changed out by now; will update if I notice anything after changing them.For the previous reviewer complaining about flow rate, you may have hard water or sediment. A filter will clog with these things, it's best to get a whole house system that can deal with this instead of an under sink filter. Having moved from a city with these issues I know this first-hand. We installed our Glacier Bay Ultimate filtration unit at the end of July. It's now the end of September and the flow rate has become insanely slow. We are only a 2 member household, and we have one of the best water sources in the world (NYC water), and yet these filters only lasted 2 months! This should have lasted us at least 6 months due to our water usage (I drink a lot of water, but it's only 120 ounces a day, and I'm away from home at least 10 days a month!), and my husband asked me to find replacement filters as it takes a really long time to fill up even a glass of water.I timed it, and it takes about 70 seconds to fill 12 ounces. Our old filtration unit (which was a countertop model and cost a fraction of this unit) took maybe 10 seconds to fill the same amount.Now I'm wondering if we should throw out the $200 filtration system because $75 every 2 months seems ridiculous.

I’ve purchased this filter system at Home Depot 3 or so years ago. It does the job and was a good purchase at a time. Cartridges last for ~4 months.Replacement cartridges used to cost $29-$33 and now they are around $60 or so on Amazon.

Love it, love the taste and especially the peace of mind of knowing my family is drinking clean water!
