Best design by far
This is a great design. Very functional and easy to use. I really didn"t care for this at first and I only bought it for the looks. The more I work with it the better I like it.First of all the looks go with the birdhouse of my fabrication. Second, the loading is relatively easy in comparison to others. Third the cone on the inside is a stroke of genius. Fourth, the birds love it. I read one of the reviews and it said that the birds never showed up. Birds are shy and they have to feel comfortable. If you look closely at the birdhouse on the left, I added an outrigger or perch to make them feel comfortable. I had one on the right one but the squirrels got to it and somehow got it to fall and broke the perch. I never put one back on because the smaller birds use it and the larger birds like the perch. Each feeder holds around 2 1/2 lbs. I fill each one up at least once a day. I use about 150 lbs a month. I have another feeder that takes about 50 lbs. a month. I use pure sunflower seeds. The feeders have withstood at least 60 MPH winds. Now for the negatives: First of all you see the right one higher. The reason for that is that is that the loop snapped off. It looked like it was cut, which I can assure you, it was not. It may have been that it was over crimped. But it was a minor problem, since I just got a U clamp and shortened the cable. However, I would suggest using a thicker cable. The 1/4 in is fragile. The second complaint is that the paint on this feeder is rather cheesy. After 6 months the finish looked weatherworn. A waterproof paint would be preferred. And thirdly, the cross-member at the bottom of the cable is just stapled in and when the cable broke the cross-member dis-attached. Two #6 1 1/2 drywall screws and a dab of Gorilla glue repaired that.As you can see, the negatives are minor and it is a great design and workmanship.

Easy to assemble, easy to clean, easy to fill and hang.
The birds seem to be enjoying this bird feeding station. It is not a high quality item but is gets the job the done for a reasonable price.

Love this white wooden birdfeeder.
Just wish the cord that you hang it up with was not so long. You have to use this cord because it’s part of the cover. The birdfeeder made of wood is cracked and broken on the topJust a minor flaw, but the birds seem to love the feeder. I wanted something more substantial for them to land on so we are still using it.And this works, though that part could have been just a little longer too. Just because they have clawed feet doesn’t meanThey always need a stick type surface to land on.

Very happy with it
We are very happy with this feeder. It's sturdy, and has a large capacity. We did build a divider, so that we can put two different types of food in. But it wasn't difficult at all. The birds seem to love it, and we only have to fill it every 3 or 4 days because of how large it is.

Fell apart in wind
The top is not designed to stay securely on. In the wind it clattered on and off the main body piece and seed flew everywhere. In less than 6 months the wind has caused the paint to chip and the whole piece to fall apart. I would not recommend this piece if you have a wind prone area. My sister has the same feeder in a less windy area and it’s been fine.

Looks great... at first
Beautiful when you can actually get it together.Husband had to use a knife to cut bits of plastic so the panes would fit in the slots. I put it outdoors and the birds loved it! Plenty of room for more than one. After the first week, only out during daytime as we have bears, most of the top paint flakes off more and more each day.Sad. Beautiful piece, just doesn't seem to hold up.

Very cheaply made
These are very cheaply made. Not even worth half the price you pay for them. Mine arrived already dented, scratched and cracked. I doubt they will last long outside if they come from the factory that way....
