The name of the item VERY CLEARLY states 5 kits, people...
Not sure why I'm seeing so many negative reviews containing the word "scam" when the NAME of the item makes it crystal clear you're ordering an assortment of 5 candy kits. Yes, they show an image of the 12 possible items your order could contain, but that shouldn't confuse you since, again, IT CLEARLY SAYS 5! No one leaves a 1 star review for headlights because the car in the photo wasn't included... Anyway, product shipped fast, arrived intact, and all kits were still 2-3 months away from their expiration dates (not always the case with these products). Good seller - happy with my purchase - would definitely recommend.

You get what you order
I see complaints about not receiving the # of packages ordered. They picture 12 packages but stipulate 5 in the written description. I did receive 5 but wonder why they picture so many more. My kids like these kits so we'll give them a try.

Fun!
This is so much fun!I saw someone reviewing candy on Youtube, and she had got one of these, and she loved hers, so i instantly searched Amazon. The positive reviews sold me instantly. Now i have to say, i am not a big candy fan, as i'm pretty middle aged, but my inner child was shouting "I want them!" And who am I to deny her? Delivery time is as expected, when coming from such a distance, and i made my usual accusations of "the postman stole my package" which i say about everything that takes longer than a day to arrive (he has not stolen a single package to date, i'm just impatient) and it came today, and i'm thrilled! So i got 5 packages as advertised - 2 are of the same type, but different flavors, and with different little candy dot thingys in them, so not really the same at all. A nice note, and a little origami bird, which is made by people with special needs (I love that!) why are Japanese candies so pretty and bright, and attractive - they just draw me in. Instantly, i could not wait, and googled to find a Youtube tutorial to follow, and it's easy enough, so i've made my first one.It tastes pretty good, though as i'm constantly on a diet, i only ate a couple of spoonfuls, (little tiny, mini spoonfuls, that come in the pack to mix things with) and this one is a marshmallowy texture, light blue, and you dip it in the candy dots. I can feel a bout of diabetes coming on, and i think moderation is key. But i can tell, kids would adore these, i know i do, even if i don't eat them all.So i give these the full 5 stars, for the flavour and the experience and price. I will definitely buy these again.

Pricey. Not all sweets
I didnt realize till I jusy looked it only comes with 5 boxes for $21 that seems expensive to me since there are other sellers with more boxes. This one was a miss for me because two of the 5 boxes were real food like. The hamburger one and the takoyaki. Those were not candies. Ive been getting these boxes for a while and never had a set with sweet and savory. I would not recommend this box unless you want to make real tasting food from water and powder. It was gross smelling and the smell lingered. The only really good one was the icecream cone one my husband and I really liked the sushi one also. But for $21 this was not worth it. If it came with everything in the picture it would be worth it.

Order early, Utilize Google Translate on your phone, enjoy!
My kids are ridiculously enamored with these Japanese Candy kits right now. If you've never seen these, check out Youtube for some examples of putting them together, it's incredibly entertaining. I bought this set through amazon, and when it arrived it had a Japanese company's return address (Yay for authenticity?). It took about 3-4 weeks to arrive, and this wasn't during a particularly busy time of the year for shipping. They did actually arrived more than a week before the shipping estimate deadline, but it was still a lengthy transit time, which I assume is because, hello, it's shipping from Japan. My advice is order with time to spare so as not to be disappointed. Each Kracie brand kit comes with a few pouches of ingredients, molds (depending on the kit) and tiny spoons (again, depending on the kit) for stirring. The activity is a LOT of the charm of these kits, it's really engaging and entertaining to create each item. The candies themselves are decent, but some of the textures are, I assume, acquired tastes. The instructions on the back of the box, if you can't find a tutorial for the specific candy you've got, can be translated with a smartphone and the google translate function. There's not real time (as of this writing) translation available for Japanese to English, but you can snap a pic, submit it, and get text translation back to figure out the instructions. This set has only baggie candies (though there are boxed versions available), which are the smaller kind, but it's still a blast. And the candies are pretty good too, very lightly sweet (to my american tongue) with interesting textures. Gormet chocolate, it is not. But pretty good.
