Marked it down 1 star because size was misleading; newer GPS and XM Radio units are too big for this cover however, for a unit with diagonal measurement not more than 5 inches it works very well. Hand-tightened the mounting nut securing the mount to the central part of the 1.75" handlebar (used only 1 rubber liner of the 3 provided) and it has not loosened in 2300 miles of riding. Kept my GPS dry in 75 minutes of torrential downpour that caught me by surprise out in the open. If vibration is a problem, suggest using a very small amount of blue thread locker. Glare on sunny days makes it difficult to read, easily solved by shading with left hand and/or setting screen option for night view, which has greater contrast.

Great product to protect my stereo system

I bought this to mount my sirius xm on my motorcycle but I love it for my phone as well. It's great for the satellite radio on my long rides and with my model of radio I can fit my phone in as well, on short rides to the store or on errands I use it for my phone primarily and I can operate my touch screen very well through the plastic window.

This system does pretty much whay they advertise, however, it does have a few flaws. It is not able to lock in position and the vibs of the bike make it walk downward, I have to keep lifting it up to see the front properly. I've worked the adjust some and finally locktighted the ball and socket. for now, it seems fairly stable.. Time will tell... Also While it is advertised as water resistant, A good downpour will let moisture get inside so it is something I'm not too happy with... However, The mount, setup and adapting is simple and easy, So while it has a few drawbacks and issues, For the money, You get what they claim and not any extras..

This is my seconded one in 2 years the first is on my Vulcan Drifter a bike that is a head turner. the seconded is on a scooter we carry on our motorhome. easy install and absolutely water proof when you install it put a light coat of safe guard just on the zipper to keep the zipper absolutely water proof ..it doesn't sweat and my GPS is working just fine I think it is very reasonably priced and well built .OK so buy it you'll like it. that's my review and I am sticking to it !! Even as huge as this thing actually is I still didn’t have room to put my Sirius device and the wad of extra antenna Wire and my very small Bluetooth transmitter inside it was stuffed to the brim. I did not use or try to use the handlebar mount because it would look like I had a laptop mounted to the handlebars.I bought it as a return here on Amazon, I understand why somebody returned it,I returned it as well.

I washed my bike and even though it was sealed (zipped) up it drew moisture inside on the plastic screen. So it would not be any good in the rain..

Bought this for my XM radio to take on my bike.Had to modify this holder to fit my Goldwing, but wanted the waterproof feature. Fogs up on the inside after a rain, have to open it and dry it out so I can see it, other than that works great.

Works great! However it does get a tiny bit of moisture inside on the clear plastic, usually early morning!

Nice product. Comes with various thicknesses of padding to compensate for thickness of electronic items. Mount was solid. It is a bit bulky and unfortunately looked a bit out of place on my Softail Deluxe. I had purchased it to keep a small xm radio and bluetooth transmitter in but ended up installing them elsewhere. Great if you want to put your car gps on the bike though. A piece of advice. Watch using electronics in these types of things on hot days. Had a magnetic tank bag for my phone and noticed it (the phone) was acting up. Was getting overheated in the direct sunlight in a closed case. Hope this helps..
