The most important is ability to hear! It has very cute sunflower details, got a lot of compliments but the quality of this product is amazing!

Good sound quality and nice color

So I've practiced medicine for a couple decades and have been happy with my first and only stethoscope every, a Littman Master Cardiology 2. When my wife became an EMT this year, I tried what they had given her and found that not only could I hear nothing, the hard plastic ear pieces hurt. I wanted to get her something great but not lay out a couple hundred for it. I always thought, you get what you pay for. With the MD One, that's a lot. I've tried using it on a number of days and side by side with the Littman. Sound quality is great and captures both highs and lows. Not much noise from tube movement or spring, like old Sprague Rappaport designs. While it lacks the panache of the premium Littman, as well as it's heft, it more than makes up for it in it's abilities, lighter weight, and price. The MD One is not a "cheaper version" of a better tool nor is it a compromise in any way. It is an excellent choice for an all around stethoscope that should last as long as any others costing twice the price. Had I not received my Master Cardiology as a gift, early in my career, I may well have chosen the MDF instead. I have no regrets having presented my wife with it and have been impressed by its quality, design, and function.

This stethoscope is really well made, and the sound sensitivity is excellent. Included in the box are 3 replacement diaphragms, 1 is the same as the one already attached to the stethoscope, and the other 2, identical to each other, are for even greater sensitivity. I installed that one right away, and was very impressed with the sound quality, especially when used on patients who have low volume heart beats during blood pressure assessment. I highly recommend this product.

I love this instrument. It works very cute and it looks good too with each set of scrubs I wear.

After reading several reviews about stethoscopes, I decided to try to find this one on Amazon. It was a bit of a risk given that there is a monoculture of one brand of stethoscope in my community, so this brand was a bit of an unknown to me. I was pleasantly surprised to find a dark blue one available at a very good price, so I figured I had nothing to lose. I used it for the first time today and was very impressed by the sound quality and the overall construction and appearance. For my general medicine needs, it’s perfect and dare I say better than the traditional brand that sells for the same or higher price. I showed it to a few of my colleagues who immediately logged on and bought themselves one. I don’t usually write reviews, but wanted to share this for others who may be in the same position I was.

As good of sound quality as my old littman. Love the design. Longer tubing is great for ergonomics. Would 10/10 recommend!

I use this a lot as an Advanced First Aider and it's much, much better than the standard kit I'm given. My team mates are always asking to borrow mine when we are out at various events taking manual BP. A bit bulkier than the cheap ones to stuff in your cargo trouser pocket but the sound is clear when listening to a brachial pulse, outside at a noisy event. It's been stuffed into a pocket and occasionally dropped or stud and still works fine with no obvious damage. Worth the extra money. Just need to convince my mates to buy their own!!
