EMMA BUNTON Life In Mono - Special Edition (Deleted 2006 UK 14-track CD album - This is Emmas most honest album to date an intimate reflection of Emmas life and loves that reveal more than she was ever expecting; with rich orchestral backing gorgeousharmonies and the sort of chorus Burt Bacharach could be proud of it moves from the stunningly tender All I Need To Know to cheeky jazz of Undressing You and the lucious Carpenters style of Im Not Crying Over Yesterdays

Simply beautiful.
This is the third album that I have bought of Emma Bunton, and just like with her sophomore effort her third album makes it extremely hard to believe that in the early 2000s she was doing bubblegum teen pop. Also with Free Me, this album too has an extremely high replay value. I have to admit though the album could have done without the Petula Clark cover "Downtown" it feels really out of place with the album's bossa nova 1960s pop. My favorites are Something Tells Me (Something's Going to Happen); Life in Mono; Undressing You; Mischevous; and I'm Not Crying Over Yesterdays. Overall wonderful album.

I love Emma as a Spice Girl, her voice on her own is a little softer but quite enjoyable.

A SERIOUS POST-SPICE MASTERPIECE
I can only echo what the other reviewers have said: this release is a masterpiece. Everything about it - I am in awe of this recording and cannot stop playing it. What a voice! What delivery! What production! THANK YOU EMMA!

BRILLIANT!
I knew this album would be good because I sampled the few songs that were on her official site. But I didn't know that the WHOLE CD would be amazing! I pre-ordered it and it finally came today, and I've been listening to it all day! It's not one of those albums where there are only a few good songs that you want to listen to. Every song on this CD is wonderful. I just wish it had been released here in America too.

Love CD/Not Price
This was one of those had to have moments...It was my first Christmas with my husband and he wanted a song. The song was on this album. Long story short, I fell into temptation and spent way to much on this. It is a greta album but not worth the price...

WOW. This album is fab baby
I left this review for a few days so I could give it few listenings.Free Me was a really great album, which I did not buy until March this year. When I first listen to it I was blown away, I just did not expect this from Emma. Now over to Life In Mono, First listening It did not seem as good as Free Me.But its a grower Emma has a sweet singing voice, which is pleasant to listen to. All the songs are good, still having the 60s bossa nova sound to most of them. Best tracks are. Life In Mono, Mischievous, He Loves Me Not, I Wasn't Looking, Take Me To Another Town, I'm Not Crying Over Yesterdays, All That You'll Be, and Something Tells Me.All in all this is a solid album, and is as good as Free Me if not better.well done Emma for a third fantastic album, and the best so far.Rating Six stars, yes it really is that good. But why did it only peak at number 65 in the charts, I do not know.
