Yes, it will wash off if you swim. It is truly just temporary - it may not all come off without shampoo but a lot will come off with water.

Q: Is this thin enought to add white strands to afro puff in order to match my black, gray and white mixed real hair?

The silver color was sent to me in error, since it cannot be returned, Amazon sent me the right color, which dark blond. I use this product mainly to blend in my roots which is lighter with my hair extensions that is dark blondish. I never used the silver color nor I ever tried to add strands, but I believe it the product is thin enough for you to do it. To me its perfect because I spray randomly al over the area of my hair that I want to change my hair to dark blond and then just lightly brush it for a more natural look. It does a very good job and smell good. Most temporary spray-on smell like chemical. Good luck. I hope this help.
