Before I ordered this I had dirty blonde hair, the shampoo has made my hair GOLD! It looks so cool! It does dry out your hair a little so I would recommend mixing in a moisturizing shampoo or using a hair mask. The scent is wonderful! When I first ordered this I thought it was going to dye my hands and it totally didn't. This products deposits color so it doesn't have brightening capabilities. I would only recommend this for people with LIGHT HAIR. If you have darker hair it may turn your hair into a reddish/ orange color. Henna reacts differently with EVERYONES hair. The delivery was grate it came in this really cute packaging. Overall I would recommend for only certain people, but I will defiantly be ordering it again.

I was cursed with going grey in my twenties, and in the past year, switched from coloring my hair with chemical dyes to henna. I personally love it, but realize that dying one's hair with henna is not for everyone. It's a whole thing. But what I love about henna is its restorative ability. My hair, after many years of chemical dyes, was coarse and damaged. Henna turned it soft and shiny from the get-go. With this shampoo and conditioner, you get some of that benefit. I can't say how it would perform on hair that has not already been transformed by henna dyeing. What I can say, from the POV of a henna devotee, is that it gives you some of that benefit, even if you're not up for taking the full henna plunge.

After covid my hair started falling out. My thick hair became thin. I have tried many hair products, but the only good result was the scent. I started using again an all natural henna powder that you make into paste for hair strengthening and bring back the liveliness, which helped to an extent. I needed something more. So I searched Amazon for henna shampoo with natural ingredients and found Shikai Henna Gold Highlights. Read the reviews on Amazon and researched this product on the internet. I bought the shampoo and conditioner with the faith that it would complete my desire effect. And I was not disappointed! My hair is much healthier now. It's fuller, shines and smells great. I know in a matter of time my hair will grow back in, but until then I have my natural curls/wavy and bouncy hair. Thank you Shikai! The above picture is after I washed and partially dried my hair.

I've tried a lot of different natural shampoos and conditioners, and this one is by far my favorite! It really does leave your hair shiny and accentuates natural highlights. It also gives a nice amount of volume while also keeping frizz down, so my hair is nice and soft without being lank.The one down side for me: I'm sensitive to smells, and this smelled SUPER strong and gave me a bit of a headache for about an hour after using it. It says "natural fragrance" in the ingredients, but I normally only get a headache from synthetic fragrance. After about a week of using it though I've grown more accustomed to it and the smell is less overpowering.

I love this shampoo and conditioner! My thick curly hair is now soft and shiny. When I straighten my hair it's so soft and with other products my head would itch. This product has helped with that also. I'm not losing as much hair either.This is the first time I ever tried a henna shampoo and conditioner and now I won't use anything else.My hair feels clean and it has repaired my damaged hair.It smells good. It's not an overwhelming smell. It's great for hair that's been colored as well.You can't go wrong with this product.

The very first time I used this product, after my hair dried and I ran my fingers through it, I was in shock. Never had my hair felt so silky soft. This is my second time ordering the shampoo + conditioner duo, and I've ordered the 2 pack of conditioner (I go through conditioner faster than shampoo). The results are great every single time! I love that the scent is very subtle, even though it smells good. I have long hair, so I prefer it to not be overly scented. My hair is left super shiny, and it doesn't tangle very easily either.This is the only product I plan on always having backup bottles of, if that tells you anything. It's *that* good.

I use an Herbatint blend to color my hair, but it leaves very little nuance. As I get older, this doesn't work too well of rme because the color is too harsh. SOOOooooo, I accidentally found out that I can use Henna Gold to slowly and subtly shampoo in highlights. What I mean is that as my gray grows out, I can shampoo in golden subtle highlights little by little until I have no choice but to color again! You should try it. REALLY! Highly recommend this product AND this seller. THANKS to both of you.

I seriously love this shampoo & conditioner and I love the fact they are cruelty free. They make my hair shiny which brings out my natural highlights & even helps hide the gray! I’d say it probably makes my hair a bit lighter overall, but maybe that’s just what my highlights naturally do when they are “pumped up” a bit! I’ll buy this again & probably try other hair products from this brand.
