Works Great On My 2022 Honda Grom
Amazon says it doesn’t work for 2022 Honda groms but it fit perfectly on mine. I have to add though, I also have a 31t aftermarket rear sprocket (as opposed to the 38t stock on 2022) so the 13t front with the 31t rear (2.3846) gives me a little higher top speed than the 15t/38t (2.5333) stock setup. But because I reduced the radius and mass of the rear sprocket and shortened my chain by 4 links it reduces the total rotational mass of the drivetrain and makes torque/power available to the wheels for acceleration that was previously being lost to just spinning up the drivetrain. It’s not much but it’s something. When doing this on some bikes can sometime give back 0.5-1hp and the Honda grom only has 9 to begin with on a good day that’s a 5-10% increase. 🤷♂️ Either way it saves on gas. But I highly suggest going this route. Even if you want to stay at stock gear ratio you can still do 13t/33t (2.5384) and this will reduce the overall rotational mass to give back a little that was previously being lost. It’s a gear though. As long as it fits properly and is made of quality alloy what more do you need?

The gear you must have for your Grom
Just the right amount of gear reduction on my 2020 grom to improve the acceleration but not Sacrificing any top speed. The engine didn’t have enough torque to pull the factory gear ratio. This is what gearing it should have had. You can maintain speed up hills much better.

Fits 2019 Honda Monkey
14T has made a huge difference in performance from acceleration and through out the rev range. Felt the bike more aggressive and much enjoyable to ride. Highly recommend mod!!!

Best upgrade for the grom!!
I bought both a 13 and a 14 tooth to try out on my 2019 grom after already adding a full yoshi exhaust and dynojet tuner which were both great upgrades but did hardly anything when it came to top end especially being I am a bigger guy for a grom 5-10, 260lbs. I then purchased the sprockets mainly looking to get better low end for pit bike shenanigans and I tried the 14 tooth with great performance all through the gear range and actually gained about 5mph more than usual on top end which was about 52 with the exhaust and tuner and then I switched to the 13 tooth to only find out it was perfect and actually gained another 5 mph to get up to 63 so far just messing around in the neighborhood. This has by far been the best mod so far for the grom and only costing a few bucks😁😁

Wake Up Your Grom!!!
Installed on 2015 grom. Complete game changer. I'm 230lbs, got stock up to 62mph downhill, full tuck. With this 13t sprocket it cruises at 60-64 right under redline with no issues. Every gear seems more peppy and 4th doesn't seem like it's asleep anymore. Best mod you can do for the cheapest of prices!

Give your Grom some pep!
I installed this on a minimally modified Honda Grom, and am incredibly pleased with the results. The Good:It really 'wakes up' the engine throughout the RPM range. Of particular note, 4th gear is more functional now, whereas with the stock gearing, the power fell flat and hampered acceleration in the middle of the RPM range, as well as would bog down on inclines. The former is now remedied, and the latter has been significantly reduced. The Bad:This modification will make your speedometer (and thusly odometer) inaccurate by indicating a roughly 7% faster speed than your actual speed. There are speedometer calibrators available to correct this if you find either of those effects undesirable (for around $80).All-in-all, a LOT of 'bang for your buck' for a less than 10 minute installation and >$10 part. Should you not like the results, it's just as easy to revert back to stock gearing.

Did not fit my stock 2019 Grom
I can tell you that this does NOT fit my stock 2019 Grom. The ID of the sprocket is fine, but there is not enough clearance for the cogs on the shaft. I contacted JT Sprockets and they confirmed that this part should work, but the one I received does not fit my motorcycle. The JT252 is supposed to be too big for the 2019 Grom shaft, but it fits mine precisely (no play). So, either the two different parts are either not made correctly (unlikely), or there is at least one stock 2019 Grom (mine) with larger cogs on the shaft than expected.

2018 grom stunts
Works awesomeI used the 14t on my 2018 to make wheelies easygoing while stock.Stock is 15t on the grom.Going down one in the front is the same as up3 in the rear.I will definitely buy from them again if I need to change to a 16t or go to 13t
