Snapware1-Cup Total Solution Square Food Storage Container, Glass

This is my favorite size Snapware container. I use it to carry one cup cottage cheese and a cup of fruit, usually stawberries. I like that the lid is 100% secure and I have never had a spill in over 150 days of carrying these containers. I have six of this size.

I bought a second one of these as Target etc all seem to be sold out of the large 6 cup containers. For me I find the size essential for my style of meal prepping - making a whole weeks worth of bolognese sauce or a chicken curry. What I love about glass in general is it’s inertness, as I still have plastic containers but I don’t like to put hot, fatty and staining meals in them. This glass won’t end up forever yellow because I put curry in it once. Finally- it’s Pyrex making it quite strong glass, able to handle hot food, microwave, dishwasher, and even bake in the oven. I also like that the lids, with the silicon gaskets are liquid proof- you can store these things upside down - or if weight wasn’t a factor use as lunch boxes.

I have given away all my other food storage for the fridge. These are great. I can cook in the 6 cup and store leftovers in the very same container in the fridge. I can make casseroles for 2 or 4 in the 4 or 6 cup ones and store them in the freezer in neat little stacks then cook them in the same container. I have 3 of each size in this set (1 c, 4 c, 6 c) as well as 3 of the 4c I bought separately. It is all the storage outside the pantry my family of 5 needs. I have had these for over two years and have had no stains. A few marks remain from old labels (permanent marker right on the lid almost always wipes off) and none have been broken even with seven and eight year old boys doing the dishes. My favorite part is that they all stack up together so I only use 1 shelf in my cabinet and not the entire cabinet busting with plastic things I could never find the lids for that I used to have!

Holds that food in there, so fresh, so tight. We had the classic plastic lids and they were breaking on us, so we went for these sturdier claspy lidded ones. Glass container is so good for poppin in the oven and not getting cancer. Lid is still plastic, but don't cook the lid. It fits all my husband lunches. SEE PHOTO FOR TODAY'S PRIME HUSBAND LUNCH.

Purchased this container to safely (chemical free container) store homemade soup in the freezer because stacking containers are easier to organizer in the freezer space. I have had containers like this before and they were not liquid leakproof but thought I'd try this type again based on reviews to see if this one was. It is not. Immediately after receiving this I washed it, filled it with water and tipped it to each side and water did heavily drip out the sides. I kept the container because it will work fine for liquid transport from counter to freezer and back and the size it good for 2 large or 3 medium meal portions. I do not recommend if you need a guaranteed leak proof container, but fine for a chemical free food storage container with otherwise.

Bought these about 6 months to a year ago. We love the thick, durable glass, great fitting spill/leak-proof lid and the large capacity of these Pyrex Snapware containers. This size is perfect for leftover partial casseroles and such. I had also purchased a different brand of glass container with locking lids and found these to be better fit across the board, even though the other brand was okay, Snapware has perfect fit and easy to use/clean.Note, with this type of container, I rarely use the lids in the dishwasher or microwave, even though they CAN be used that way and hold up reasonably well with the one I did, I want to maximize their lifespan by not subjecting them to any heat.

Snapware has very easy open and shut clamps. This is unlike the Prep Naturals Glass Food Storage containers which are very difficult. Also they can be filled close to the top, unlike others that you have to push the lid down to close them. Only problem was that I had to pay twice as much for these as the Prep Naturals containers--$7.39 vs. $3.20 each. But it was worth having containers that weren't such a chore. Maybe you will find them at a lower price than what I paid for them.

This is a nice glass container for the kitchen. The warranty is stellar. I purchased this along with several other sizes of Snapware glass storage containers. Food storage was my main reason to get all these. But hey! There's a bonus in this.The instructions and information provided by the manufacturer clearly explain how to use them for microwave cooking and oven baking, in addition to the food storage/freezing.I was glad I read instructions because there are things I do with glassware I need to stop doing. They are easy to clean and I think they sold me a great product for the price. This kitchen equipment is going to save me time, and I won't be using plastic wrap, plastic food bags or tin foil as much.No. I did not receive anything free or at a reduced price for my review. I didn't know until I got these that they were made by Pyrex which I may have reconsidered had I known. Thankfully I am glad I didn't as these are awesome!!!! They work fabulous for storage but my daughter also uses them very regularly for yoghurt etc for her lunches. They seal air tight and have been through my dishwasher multiple times already. Finally impressed with Pyrex again or at least these.

These are extremely good quality, although I feel my Glasslock ones are just slightly better in quality. I think it is the Glasslock lids that feel a bit sturdier. But I have some of both brand and use them all regularly, with no complaints at all about the Snapware. The reason I have some of both is because they each offer different sizes and shapes that the other doesn't. Overall I am very very happy with the Snapware and would definitely recommend to people.

loved this set. bought when we were expecting our first baby so we could easily freeze some meals ahead of time and then pop them directly into the oven after defrosting. loved that we could write directly onto the lids and label everything so our freezer is organized. came well packed as well.

I like the size and shape of the containers and they truly don't leak. But one of the lids had a broken piece.
